Re:treat Glamping

Cosy & comfy accommodation in idyllic, peaceful countryside, with speedy & friendly service: highly recommended!

On arrival Jo was very welcoming and left us to make our way and settle in. We were blown away by the the accommodation, with a lovely welcome pack, flowers and clear instructions on how to use everything and things to make your stay as simple as possible. Jo has thought of everything and the quality of all the fixtures and fittings was evident. It is a wonderful private, safe space to relax. Chilling on the large verandah just listening to the birds and ducks was such a treat. We were surrounded by nature with Hares, Herons, a Kingfisher, Deer, and a pair of Red Kites. There is so much space to wander in, with no one else to share it with. Walks on the doorstep and if inclined, the beautiful Wrest Park nearby to boot. The fire pit was lovely in the evenings and we were lucky to have the weather to make good use of it. We ate in, the superb log stove and gas stove making cooking 'glamping style' very easy. A BBQ there too. If you want time out this is definitely a place to consider.

Had a lovely weekend staying at Retreat Glamping. Jo was great at ensuring our stay was stress free and enjoyable. Would highly recommend a break here. Luxurious and relaxing.

We had never been glamping before, and we had a wonderful stay at Re:treat Glamping. The lodge was an absolute treat, full of character with quirky little rustic, shabby chic touches. The kids loved it, especially roasting marshmallows on the fire pit and sleeping in a 'den ben'. The lodge is well maintained, has comfy beds, plenty of quality supplies provided for everything we needed and the bed linen and towels smelled and felt beautifully fresh. Such a personalised service and extra care and attention from the owner Jo.We enjoyed homemade meals and freshly baked bread and breakfast from Jo. We also booked extras like the family photography and yoga session and enjoyed the private and peaceful setting.Take thermals for those colder evenings, though plenty of hot water bottles were provided and the wood fire kept us warm.

We have just returned from such a beautiful Glamping weekend with Re-treat Glamping. Such a beautiful place, gorgeous setting and amazing safari tent. We have really enjoyed spending time at the peaceful pond, feeding the fish, watching the wildlife across the fields and relaxing on the veranda at the end of the day, star and moon gazing.The owners Jo and Nick have put a huge amount of thought and care into everything. The gorgeous welcome package, the decor and accessories in the safari tent, the super comfy beds with extra blankets and hot water bottles. We also enjoyed the home made chicken casserole with bread and a continental breakfast provided by Jo. Just delicious. As a family of 5, with 3 young children, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Lots of outdoor toys, games and sports, pond dipping, wildlife spotting, and space to roam free and explore. A lovely extra surprise was the happy birthday bunting and birthday cake for my son on our arrival.The all round package for a lovely break away enjoying the countryside. Would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Jo and Nick.

Really special place - we had an absolutely lovely time playing outside, toasting marshmallows and flying kites during our stay. The safari tent is pristine and lots of little extras are included. We will be back!

We had a lovely time at Re:treat glamping! It’s a beautiful location for the perfect escape, in accommodation where everything is thought of. Jo gave a great service and we even enjoyed her home cooked meals! We loved our stay - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The safari. tent has been done up beautifully with lots of special touches and set in tranquil countryside.

We have had the most amazing long weekend at Re:treat as a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday.Everything about it was fantastic from the moment we arrived when my daughter pulled her brother down the track to the tent in the trolley and then hearing everybody say 'wow, wow, wow' when they caught sight of the tent. The safari tent had everything we needed and more, we saw no one all weekend, it was completely remote.We had Thai red curry with freshly baked bread when we arrived and ordered breakfast for the following morning - there was enough for 2 breakfasts (for 5 people)!! The fact there was no TV was great, the retro radio in the tent did us proud. My 2 children (9yrs and 4yrs) absolutely loved it. We had bbqs, water gun flights (water guns not provided) played cricket and board games. We booked a photo shoot with Kate who was so accommodating and got us all laughing.Finally we had the best night's sleep in the comfiest beds ever - well done to Jo, you have a truly wonderful and unique business with so much attention to detail, we can't wait to come back for longer.

Amazing glamping location and safari tent. The tenant had comfy beds, hot water, kitchen etc, everything we wanted to for a comfortable camping experience (especially having children). You have a very private 14 acres to run around with a small pond. Jo was an excellent host, quick to respond and the welcome was very warm and friendly. Strongly recommended.
