National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Took my car ther for service and MOT, took out, felt odd for weeks, very sure they changed my front tyres for some reason, they don't even match, not sure what to do given it took so long to notice. Also checked before leaving and the wiper fluid cap was missing, it had felt to the engine side, had to ask them to get it.

Brilliant service provided, sorted a very uncommon problem during wheel alignment. Will certainly be coming back

Excellent, honest and professional service. I had a screw in my tyre and after being told by another fitter that my tyre could not be repaired and that I would have to replace it at a cost of £300+, I tried National Tyres. Not only did they repair the tyre, they did it in 10 minutes with no waiting time. I cannot recommend this garage enough!

Took my car in for MOT and service. Car needed a new part which they had problems getting hold of (completely not their fault but the suppliers). However, told me my car was ready to collect that evening and then when I got there they needed to keep in another day (also fine, but could have communicated this to me before I left work early). Got my car home the next day and that evening received an email from them saying my MOT was due even though they were meant to have done it. When I called first thing they told me it was a glitch in the system but when I drove round to get the pass certificate, it turned out they hadn't done the MOT at all. No apology or explanation for this and disappointed that something which should have been straightforward ended up taking 3 days!

I've been using National Tyres for few years now. Last year i've been to the branch from Kingston Road in Wimbledon however they offer me a grate experience. This year when I've tried to book with them on the day i been available unfortunately they didn't have a slot space so the website give me alternative other branches, so i went with Kinston-Upon-Thames. With the day before my booking someone from the branch called me to let me know that they cant complete my MOT same day, however i paid for everything to be done in a day.I ask if i can have the service done on the day i initially booked and MOT next day and was fine. Before i let my car with them at 8:30am i ask them to give me a rough estimate time when my car will be ready and they told me around midday. around 4pm i called them 5 times and they didn't answered, the 6th time finally answered and told me that in 10 minuets will be ready, at 4:40 i showed up to the garage and my car still wasn't ready and i had to wait longer. After i took my car and done some visual checks:I could see that the plastic cover under the bonnet was lose and everywhere was oil greaseMy leather on the driver seat and the right door was stained of oil/grease wherever they had on they're handsAlso i could see on computer board that the brake fluid needs changing and i ask them and they didn't know that so how they done my service ? even i ask them to let me know if my car needs extra repairs as i could see national tyres only top-up not changing the brake fluidWhen i start my car i saw on dash that my service is due in 3200 miles.(after the new service)In my log book instead writing 2022 they write 2023 and ticks the wrong pages and now i have to take my car to the main dealership to repair what they was unable.I polite ask them about those problems and they told me that there was no time for correcting their mistakes, however was Saturday 1pm and they ask me to come later in a week. How they can do that? I will have to take another day off and lose the pay for they mistake? Plus that when i was there waiting for my car the phone was ringing and the had they're music loud. The person in charge with the CSR telling his colleague that his tired and his not answering that phone and if he dose he will tell them that their car is-not ready, thats rude.I will try my best to let everyone know about my experience using National Tyres to prevent future customers discomfort.

I ve bought 2 front tyre from this garage. Got them fitted balanced and aligned. The steering wheel was off and the car was steering to left. I took my car back in the shop the next morning and the guy on the front desk was quite arrogant, unprofessional and unwilling to help and told me they get it everyday. He agreed to put the car on the lift the car and insisted that it was all aligned. But it was apparent that sterring wheel was not straight. I took it to another local garage immediately after and they fixed it. The car is dead straigh again.This business has so much customers coming in and out they don't even bother to listen to customers needs.Avoid if you can. There are small but much better services around.

Would NOT recommend. Understaffed and disorganised. Got an MOT check and had to take it to another mechanic to get the fixes to pass (most mechanics do the MOT and fix it themselves) then I was asked to book an appointment for the recheck but could not get through on the phone for an hour so drove back to make one in person but was told to come back so the mechanic can have his lunch. I came back again and was told he was busy and I should have called. Nonsense.

A black hole, waste of time place. Arrived to my pre booked appointment to be notified that they are unable to complete the service and asked to come back on Saturday andIt will be done first thing in the morning. On Saturday they asked to leave the car for the whole day and it might be done, might be not. Two days wasted, asked for refund and went somewhere more reliable and trustworthy

White Tesla Guy - Should be 3 stars - Nigel's got to go, took 2 and a half hours to put 2 tyres on, mick take and guess what ... 1 tyre was perfectly fine, but he still put it on the scrap heap :(Tristan came through though (5 Stars), so did Simon (manager) and another guy (assistant manager)Big up Tristan, if he can't be Manager make him CEO. This guys walked on 2 tyres in 15 mins as it should be. Thanks Mate
