Crafting Curries

My girlfriend and I had a 2 hour Indian street food class last Friday. It was wonderful and I am sure we will book again. Cathy keeps the class size small, there were 3 of us on this one, and she did an excellent job of making sure everybody was getting the right level of attention. Cathy was clearly well prepared, has a great manner and is an amazing cook. We had a great time, have some great new skills, and could not fault anything. Absolutely fantastic!

We had an amazing time. The whole experience from entering the house to eating in the beautiful garden, was excellent. Cathy did not only teach us how to cook Indian food, she explained why we need to do certain things in the order we were told, the meaning and origin of the dishes she chosen for us. We learned a lot about cooking and India.From a booking view, the Website is straight forward, and I got very efficient replies on my questions and emails. Also a phone call to ensure we were both in agreement.From CV19, safe measure taken did not spoil our experience. And we both felt safe

I highly recommend booking a class for yourself or as a present for a foodie in your life. I had a wonderful time from start to finish with lots of humour and delicious food. The pace is just right and Cathy had done a lot of the prep so you’re not rushed at all and have plenty of time to ask questions and chat and all sit down for a delicious meal at the end. Another class is top of my Christmas list!

Cathy put on the most fabulous bespoke event for my father's 70th birthday, which also involved birthday bunting, champagne glasses and a lovely home-made birthday cake! The setting was delightful, and the dishes we made (guided attentively and affectionately by Cathy) were delicious. Cathy was warm and welcoming, and made us feel like very special guests - teaching us a lot in the process. Everything had been prepared with care, so the afternoon ran smoothly. My parents had been to Crafting Curries before, so she kindly made sure the recipes were different for them this time. I couldn't recommend this experience more highly! Thank you.

Superb course hosted by Cathy where we learnt about and then cooked authentic Indian dishes from various regions of India. Her hands on guidance, encouraging us to taste effects of adding lime juice and various spices was so insightful. Each dish was delicious and broken down into simple to follow steps. No offense to my mom, but this was the best food I have ever had.If you like Indian food this is THE PLACE to be to learn how to make it yourself.

What a joy, lovely afternoon spent with like minded people. Cathy was brilliant, very friendly, informative and great sense of humour. The food was delicious and plenty of advice during the session. We would definitely recommend Cathy if you want authentic Indian cuisine. Lots of different courses to choose from, we are looking to book another we enjoyed it so much.

We had an amazing afternoon full of flavours, aromas and clever techniques. We learnt a lot about the importance of how ingredients are added and when, what the various spices bring to the dish, and how to balance their flavours, and all immaculately presented with friendliness and care. Thank you Cathy for a truly enjoyable afternoon and a wonderful dinner in your lovely home and garden. We will work hard to recreate these masterpieces at home now!

We had the most amazing time at Cathy's cooking some true home-style Indian food. She's very well-organised and knowledgable, and went above and beyond to cater for all our needs and requests. More importantly, the quality of the food was absolutely exceptional! We've already cooked her recipes at home and they tasted just like at hers. Can't wait to take another class!
