Such a quiet place. Great, for a quick getaway. The area could do with a litter pick, and fly tip removal, but not a major problem.

Historic Hull to Withernsea Railway
The Hull to Withernsea railway line was opened in 1854. The last passenger train ran in november 1964. Most of the track bed remains and is an excellent cycle path, some parts out towards Withernsea are quite rough and overgrown. As it passes by the villages a few of the stations remain now mostly private houses, although Withernsea station and hollym gate were demolished. There are interesting things to see on the Old historic railway, and how it changed this part of East Yorkshire. Before the railway arrived in Withernsea the population was only 101. Definitely worth seeing if you like country walks.
