Highly recommended. Had to re-schedule due to lock-down restrictions, Ewa was very helpful and we re-booked for this year. Was worth waiting for. The cottage is lovely, fabulous views and everything you need for a relaxing break. We were sorry that we had to leave!

Our second stay at this beautiful cottage lived up to our previous expectations.A hard to beat setting virtually on the beach.We saw dolphins from the terrace which was a highlight of our stay.A good quality food hamper was a lovely gesture and the cottage was immaculatedealing with Covid restrictions appropriately.The cottage is well placed for Northumberlands many attractions. We visited Coquet Island from Amble on a beautiful day and saw countless numbers of Puffins and Seals. A wonderful experience.We had a nice walk around Bamburgh visiting the Grace Darling museum which must be the best Free! Museum in the country.We cannot recommend this cottage too highly and Ewa's professionalism and expertise at running her business is exceptional.We will be visiting again in the near future.

Fabulously romantic 7 day stay here in August 2020 walking and exploring the local area. The cottage is spotlessly clean with greatest efforts afforded to comply with government guidelines. Only good things to say, the stunning ever changing sea view is breathtaking. We didn't want our stay to end, it was so hard leaving the sea behind and driving away. Special thanks to our hosts whom we never saw but were only a text away x

We arrived on the night of the highest tide of the year (due to the super-moon) and it was the perfect start to our holiday. Waves were crashing right up to the balcony edge and it was the most breath taking view of the sea. Our hosts were extremely helpful, friendly and just a text message away if we needed anything! We spent 3 cosy nights at Bank Top where we explored the local area; you can walk along the coast for hours and completely lose track of time. The welcome pack supplied by Ewa and Markus is full of suggestions for the best local, cafes, restaurants and takeaways that deliver to the door. We particularly enjoyed the ice cream shop, which is just 2 minutes up the road. The view from the balcony/living room is always amazing and constantly changing. We cannot recommend Bank Top Cottage enough, it is exactly as welcoming as the photos on the website suggest and the perfect coastal retreat. We can't wait to come back!!!
