Bude Haven Recreation Ground - Crazy Golf

Really good, small activity to do. Went with my mum and helped fill half an hour. The holes are a good difficulty, but are doable for everyone. Would recommend.

great fun.. really love having a round here .. and the banter with the guy on the till.. what a laugh... well worth a visit ... beautifully kept and just good fun !

Fun little course near the coast. Pretty cheap price at £3.50 per adult for 9 holes (20/7/21) would be better if it took a little longer or had 18 holes.

We always play several rounds of crazy golf when we stay in Bude. It's a charming reminder of different times. Good innocent fun. Beautifully kept and friendly staff too.

Having enjoyed champagne at the local wine champ-porium, my partner frequented the lansdown dairy, perusing the local olives and cheeses. She settled on chilli heatwave by Doritos. She's typically a rib 'n' saucy (by walkers) so this was unprecedented. We rented a regal horse and carriage to the Bude Light for a mere 160 great British pounds (GBP). Magnificent!The establishment has not only a booking booth but a veg-an iced creamery for the pittance of half a GBP per scoop. The flavour reminded me of Osteria Francescana in Modena. Carpe Diem!Having savoured the gelato dolce, we sauntered to the booking booth and was met my a young generic golfer. As he was wearing a polo shirt one can only have assumed he was a seasoned professional! Having consumed our Golf clubs (£15 GBP, oh my a bargain!) We made the short walk to the course (No caddy, disgraceful. Bude council has my letter of complaint in the post). After a long, arduous trek of over 10 meters we wiped our sweaty (mum's spaghetti!) brows.The grounds were breathtaking, the concrete sculptures reminiscent of Michelangelo and bridges that Isambard Kingdom Brunel would be proud of. We played. We played well.I lost.Following the game we chartered a jet to the top 10 local destination of the tourist information (TI) centre and a helli back to our homestead. Total cost €27,638 (EUR). Amazing value.All in all a day to remember. As the French would say Am nacht trinke ich milch"!!"
