Nisha has been nothing short of amazing and I'll be honest, I didn't think anyone would be able to see or understand my child the way that I do and I was very sceptical that anyone would be able to help at all. Nisha has been brilliant and has helped to give her lots of coping strategies for situations that she would sometimes find hard. We can't thank you enough.

Seeing Psychologists for the first time can be quite a nervous experience especially when you are discussing personal topics. Dr Karia is very comforting and understanding, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I have had a very positive experience through her high levels of understanding, and thought processes. Dr Karia worked with me over a course of 12 sessions, due to an accident I had earlier in the year.When I attended the first session with her, other than physically, I had little to no understanding of how the accident could have possibly affected me. After many a few sessions of EMDR and just simply talking about things, I left with a deep understanding of thoughts and feelings, even about events pre and post accident.I highly recommend that everyone, not only those who are referred, visit Dr Karia or any type of Psycologist or even a councillor and most importantly go into the sessions with an open mind.Once again thank you for working with me Nisha, I am incredibly grateful.

My 17 year old daughter has been seeing Dr Nisha Karia in her NHS role within the CAMHS Service. My daughter has ASD, she has a long history of anxiety and depression, somewhat associated to past traumas. For just over a year my daughter has suffered from Non-Epileptic Seizures, this has had a huge impact on all our lives, the seizures have been many daily, exhausting, painful and often presenting in dangerous situations such as car parks, on stairs or in water. Thanks to the wonderful Nisha Karia and the EMDR therapy she has given my daughter, I can now say that my daughter has been seizure free for three whole weeks! She has experienced many 'triggers' within this period - no seizures! I have found Nisha to be friendly, warm, and understanding towards our daughter and to myself, aswell as patient with the work involved. We just can't thank her enough!

I have known Dr Karia for quite some time. I worked alongside her in CAMHS and I have always found her to be so approachable and supportive. Her knowledge and skill set is second to none. I have the fortune to have monthly clinical supervision in my private practice (psychtherapies). She is very skilled in helping me to think about my clinical work in depth and always offers a new way of thinking about my work with patients.
