Absolutely brilliant. Before I got there my 3 year old fell asleep as he was tired and we forgot out push chair. When I asked the manger for a booth seat so he can sleep he was so accommodating and offered us a sofa table. For a Saturday and previously working in the hospitality industry that was wow in itself. The seat itself was so comfortable and warming, just had a relaxing setting to it.The food was amazing, had the beef sushi which was something different and my eldest son rely enjoyed it. Finally got the chance to have a Tomahawk which I shared with my son and wife had Sirloin. The steak was perfectly cooked and the waiter was so good and attentive when looking after us. The mock tails were perfectly prepared.Even though it was busy the atmosphere was amazing, was so calm and relaxed but very busy.Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again. Thank you Emre.

It’s a beautiful place with lovely decor and great little touches to make the dining experience very pleasant. Service was excellent, food was good and atmosphere was quiet considering it was a Sunday evening. Prices were a little on the high side but understandable considering the quality of food and dining experience. We had loaded chips, rack of ribs, mash, t-bone and a tomahawk steak. Overall a good experience.

The food was good! We asked medium rare but it was medium! But in terms of flavours, all good! You do have plenty of options! Service was good! We asked for diet coke but they offered normal coke and when we asked again they exchanged! Will recommending this place, but for me personally it was more of a one time occasion place but i’d still recommend!

The experience exceeded my expectations. A stunning building very tastefully transformed into something truly unique and special. Definitely has the wow factor!Great friendly service - shout out to Zara! And the food, what can I say? Simply delicious. The brisket was cooked perfectly to enhance the taste of the meat and so soft, it was clear the chef knows what he is doing! High class. Will definitely come again.

I was really excited about making the journey from Birmingham to here, as reviews suggested it is good. However, whilst service and decor are nice, food lacks a lot of flavour. This surprised me, as the menu looked interesting, but herbs and spices were lacking in all the food. Mocktails were okay, but not amazing.Lamb chops seemed to be missing a lot of the lamb.

Visited for the first time on 14/09/23 as a group of 7, I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place so thought I’d give it a shot myself.Firstly we’ll start with exterior, it seems like an old church which has been subtly renovated so not to destroy the history & character it holds, there is no parking onsite so you’ll need to find a side road or park on the double yellows directly outside the building and risk a parking ticket. The interior has retained the essence of the church but also feels like a restaurant, due to the super high ceilings & exposed brickwork it can become cold & drafty. We were quickly seated and handed the menus, what I didn’t like was that the waitress who had handed us the menus didn’t even give us a second to open them but demanded drinks orders, it’s completely unprofessional & not good customer service. For drinks we ordered some mocktails including pina colada & the rosé, the rosé tasted like they’d opened a can of rubicon lychee & just poured it into the glass and decorated it, both guests who ordered it said the same thing and weren’t impressed that it costs £7, one guest ordered a pineapple juice which was missed & had to be requested Again, they said it tasted like juice out a carton, this again was £5 or £7.For food we ordered a sirloin steak med well, it came out medium, we ordered 2 Smokey bbq ribs & 2 tomahawk with sides. The sirloin steak was just ok, it lacked complete seasoning, the tomahawks were most definitely not 1kg-1.2kg as advertised & charged for on the menu, both were cooked medium however all guests who had this said it was bland & chewy, the quality of meat is poor, very very little fat marbling.I had the Smokey bbq ribs which was in fact 1 rib, you should change the menu description firstly to let guests know if it’s beef or lamb, and secondly that it’s only 1 rib, the only think Smokey about this rib was a pot of bbq sauce on the side, the rib itself was dry, bland & not very exciting, you cannot advertise a dish as Smokey bbq ribs when it’s not, a pot of bbq sauce isn’t good enough, the best thing was sadly the fries, it really says something. What I did enjoy was the San Sebastián cheesecake with chocolate, although we had to send the waitress back with the pouring chocolate as it was so thick it didn’t pour, however again the value for money was poor as it’s £9 for a small slice.Overall the food is 5/10Service is 5/10Atmosphere is 7/10

Wonderfully grand setting & ambience that somehow manages to accommodate dinner jackets, evening wear, through to casual sports wear without anyone feeling out of place. Music well selected and at a comfortable level to hold conversation. Some well executed theatrics with certain dishes prepared at the table. Very attentive, professional & friendly service from Zara.Good size portions for all courses and our filet steaks were cooked & seasoned perfectly. Mocktails we’re also delicious.Finding a parking space was difficult but you forget that the moment you walk in. The smell of smoke does stay with you too, as if you’d been at a bonfire/BBQ all night.

We went to Emre celebrate my wife's birthday. The decor and atmosphere of the place was amazing. It's an old church converted on to this restaurant. The was a really nice distinctive smell in the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The steaks were lovely. Cooked to perfection and the taste... mmmThe mocktails, however, were not fizzy. Not sure if that's how they make them or if the soda they used was flat. Non the less, a great experience. They have some nice places to take photos and have highchairs for small kids.
