Excellent, we just went here on the off chance while we was walking about in Lymington for a few days, quite busy ,but still found us a table even though we hadn't booked, Lovely food, brilliant beer (as it is a fullers pub,didn't know when we went in..Happy day's) very friendly and welcoming staff,absolutely lovely evening, will definitely be back when in the area..Thank you.

Lovely pub restaurant. Staff are very friendly and attentive. They have a wide seafood choice. The dresses crab was delicious.

A good pub with a nice atmosphere, we came for a drink one night and likes it so came back to eat the next night.There were 3 real ales to choose and a straight forward menu with a specials card too. The service is nice, efficient with a relaxed feel. The food was good with nice flavour and nice portion size.Price is about average and the decor is very pleasant with a lovely outdoor seating area with a lovely sheltered feeling.We would definitely return when we are in the area again so I would recommend you try it for yourself. Booking is probably recommended

Arrived very late (had told them we were delayed) for a booked table but the hosts very kindly kept the table for us even though they were very busy. Served our food quicky and looked after us very well. Food was good pub type...enjoyed the beef and ale pie. Well worth a visit if you're in Lymington.

Wow yet again set in lovely picturesque setting of the New Forest, lovely warm welcoming cosy ambiance place to come and relax or to wine and dine, the staff here are lovely, especially the landlady, who welcomes you personally and engages in conversation and asks where your from, what your stay has been like, she also has knowledge of the local area and surrounding places to visit which was very useful at the time.You will have a lovely time here relaxing, and or enjoying an evening meal or lunch with friends HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a visit which you will totally enjoy.

Great restaurant. Lovely food and staff. The warm pork scratching to start were fabulous, and came with a lovely spicy apple sauce. I had the fish stew for my main which was excellent. My sister had the crab, which she said was lovely. Then we had cheese for dessert, which was great! Good choice of wines. I would go back!!

What a fantastic pub!! It feels like a ‘Local’ where everyone is friendly. We were warmly welcomed, a table found even though we hadn’t booked and the service was so good. And then the food - excellent!! Especially the lemon cheesecake! :) Thank you to everyone at The Rest!!
