The Tacos with Suadero, are incredible and even better their “Macha” sauce and the Quesadillas!You must give it a try to this place.Also, it’s really cheap!

Perfect Tacos.We got the pork, the beef and the cactus. All were amazing.We also got Mexican cola and left with some chicharrons to snack on at home.The service is so friendly. The food is perfect. If you are wondering whether or not to go, then this is your sign. Get down to Proper Tacos, sit at the counter and just enjoy the experience.My wife and I will definitely be back.

As a Mexican, a passionate cook and a foodie, the only thing I didn’t like about London was how bad or overpriced (or both) Mexican food is. But 6 years after I moved here I finally found Tere and tried her delicious and authentic tacos. She makes her tacos with handmade blue corn tortillas, the most delicious fillings and incredible salsas. All made PROPER. I’ve been her client for 2 years, and she’s cooked for us as takeaway, in the market and now as a caterer, and each time I’ve always found the food and service impeccable. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing tacos, the tortillas are both home made and delicious and the fillings are full of flavour, especially the beef suadero! Would definitely recommend sitting at the counter as Theresa is very welcoming and her passion for the food is really inspiring. My only complaint is I didn't visit sooner but I'll definitely be going back!

If you're looking for authentic and delicious Mexican street food and experience, this is your place. It's a hidden corner that welcomes you warmly and their tacos with the blue corn are so tasty. If you're in the know, the owner will also make you a gordita. I can't wait to go back!

I went to a private event last weekend, first time trying Proper Tacos and OMG, this is the deal. Super tasty, delicious and wonderful. Teresa (owner) super nice, friendly, prompt and customer service focused. Food delicious, attention from Teresa top class. I’m Mexican and I bet you it takes far more than “nice tasty food” to get the great reviews Proper Tacos receives. I’m definitely paying them a visit at their Seven Sister site soon. Loved them!Paco

Proper tacos did our wedding celebration catering and it was fantastic!. From the moment I got in contact, Tere and Scott gave us all the information we needed, with options to serve different things, as well as to be able to change the sitting arrangement during the day of the event. We had buffet style tacos, aguachile and ceviche to start, to then in the early evening have a sit down meal with chicken in mole sauce. Everyone raved about the food, tacos were a total hit and the mole and rice got compliments from my Mexican mother (not an easy thing). Tere, Scott and all the team were always helpful and super nice to all our guests, they went above and beyond our expectations. We recommend their service to everyone who want’s something extra special. The passion and love they put in their business is amazing.

Proper Tacos
I visited with my teenage son, both of us were massively impressed! The tacos are authentic and handmade - rare to find in London. The fillings are full of flavour too. The pork chicharon and beef suardero are must tries. The owner, Teresa, is an absolute star, so welcoming. Will be back many times in the future for sure!
