Exe Valley Farm Shop and Ruby Red cafe

Had a lovely breakfast and they were really busy and still found us a table. The 2 girls loved playing outside and seeing the animals

We had a large group booked for breakfast upstairs, all pre-ordered and it came out to us like clockwork. The food was as always amazing. The only thing that would improve the upstairs is a few acoustic panels as it was quite loud with us all up there. Top notch other than that

Arrived at 11.50am to be told that lunch was not served until 12.00. We ordered our drinks by the time they arrive it was just about time to order lunch. Why the food order couldn’t have been taken at the same time as the drinks and put through at 12.00, I don’t know. When I did order the food the young lady look disapprovingly at the clock as it was about a minute to 12.00. I ordered fish and chips. The fish batter was soggy and not crispy and very greasy. The chips are slightly hard inside so only half cooked. My daughter had cheesy chips, again the chips were half cooked with grease floating around in the bottom of the bowl. Certainly won’t be eating there again.Staff not particularly friendly. A lesson in customer services wouldn’t go a miss.

Called in as was passing. Good range of meats and cheeses with a fair selection of standard farm shop produce, also plants and garden materials. Do have a coffee shop with small meals available.

Love it, lovely fresh veg. Good range of quality food products. Great gift options. Love the plant variety and quality of them. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely setting, friendly staff and lovely fresh food. We enjoyed shopping and the meal. The Ruby Red is nice and spacious and good to grab a bite to eat. Good supply of stock in the main shop and there was lots available to browse as gifts for father's Day!.

Recently went for lunchtime meal following marriage of daughter, incredibly welcoming and attentive team who helped make the day special, food was tasty especially the chips highly recommend.It was also my birthday and I was surprised with the most delicious lemon sponge cake, the Ruby red team definitely went that extra mile for super service.Thankyou for everything.

Been 4/5 for us the 10 or so times we’ve visited. The last time, in July 2023, we had the best food so far. We had breakfast and where it had been a big hit or miss, this was a noticeable upgrade. The breakfast bap was one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Nice!
