My Georgian friend told us about this place. Was amazed by diverse and unique tastes of Georgian food. Service was excellent, everything they recommended was very delicious, especially Georgian lemonade, Khachapuri and Barbecues. For sure one of the best restaurant in London and the best in Kensington.

Situated in the heart of South Kensington Orera offers reliable tasty Georgian food. Although not as homely as the downstairs restaurant Shoty, Orera, offers the same menu and quality of service. This is perhaps most likely due to the fact that both these restaurants share the same menu and food.Food tastes freshly cooked on the day, although items such as Dolma are best enjoyed earlier in the day than later. I have noticed that later in the day, the dish is not served as fresh.Service is welcoming and reliable as ever, and drinks are plentiful with Georgian wine offered.

Amazing food, the staff were friendly and detailed with recommendations. The spring chicken in cream was the highlight, and the shoty bread was just fantastic (we ordered two of them for the both of us). I highly recommend the Georgian beer if you have not tried it before! Will come again with friends.

Good food (most fresh, but also some from the fridge). Great wines. Service friendly but slightly clumsy.The bill came with a >10% service charge. Unannounced, unexplained. Maybe I am a thrifty foreigner, maybe this is common here, but I find this rude. The waiter ‘it can be removed if you want’. Hm. I just paid. A peculiar practice.

Delicious. I got the Kotnis Lobio and I wish I'd had room for more as the entire menu looks so tasty. The atmosphere is calm and charming. The employee placed a small vase filled with roses at my table after I chose my seat. Consider stopping here for lunch if you're visiting the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, or the Victoria & Albert - it's only 5 minutes walk away and absolutely worth it.
