Sewing Machine Repair Services

I had two sewing machines serviced by Carmela, and would definitely recommend this lovely lady. My sewing machines are running beautifully, and have benefitted from some TLC from Carmela. Her rates are competitive, and she provides a quick service.

My sewing machine feels like it's had a really good spa day after its service from Carmela. She sorted it out for me within just a few days, which was amazing as I use it for work. You can tell she knows her stuff and she's really passionate about it. When someone is like that you know you'll get a good job from them. I'll definitely be taking my machine back for it's annual service or if it decides to break again!

Carmela has done a great job on servicing my elderly Husqvarna - i said it was 28 years old then realised after i had left it with her, that it was 38 years old! It is all running smoothly now and i feel inspired to try some of the stitches i haven't used before. Last year i was patching our elderly caravan curtains which were very dusty (and too fragile to be washed before mending) and they had really contributed to clogging up the machine which was all blocked up and came to an absolute standstill last week. I won't hesitate to recommend Carmela, or to use her services again, and the work was done very promptly - great *****, thank you C

I recently took two machines to Carmela: my Elna sewing machine (the stitch length selector had jammed) and my Elna overlocker (one of the loopers had broken off). Both machines are more than 20 years old.I had been told by others that the overlocked was beyond repair. However, I took it with me in the hope that something could be done as it is a lovely machine.Both machines are now fixed and working.I cannot thank Carmela enough for doing everything she could to fix the overlocker.I will definitely take my machines back to Carmela for annual servicing.Ros J

I contacted Carmela about a service and possible repair of my second hand Brother Overlocker. She was friendly and knowledgeable and fit me in almost straight a way. After dropping off my machine it was serviced, fully working and ready to collect in less than a week! Very competitive prices, brilliant service and a lovely person!
