Kings Square Post Office

Great wee post office. Competent and friendly. Went in with an awkward car tax query - that other post offices had dismissed with a 'contact the dvla' - but they took the time to go through it and sorted it out.

Tried to buy one for all cards today but money was taken from my bank account and post office said fault with their system and it was refunded to me. It’s not showing as refunded and o can’t afford to wait days on end to get this money back. Absolute disgrace

5th of August, 9.20 am i posted an item to Canada. The fellow dealing with me was rude surly and unhelpful and tried to overcharge me. Seems he didnt know the difference between a parcel and a large letter. When notified of his error he gave a perfuctory apology but looked visibly irritated. I expressed my misgivings to the recipient in Canda by email and asked him to tell me when/if it arrived. Over a month later the item has failed to arrive. A replacement item, sent on the 25th of August from a different Post Office HAS arrived.Ive sent many similar items through my usual post office over the last year and all have arrived, including 5 to Canada. My usual Post Office's machine wasnt working on this day and instead of waiting i decided to try Kings Square. Bad idea evidently.My advice is that if you feel the Post Office worker is acting rude and unhelpful to ask for your item back and to go elsewhere.

In fairness, I can't fault this Post Office, in contrast to the main one in High Street, Belfast. The staff are generally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Long may it continue as a local PO...
