Villiers Barn Wedding & Events Venue

We got married here at Villiers in August 2023 (having booked back in September 2020). Juliet and her team were fantastic throughout the entire experience.Obviously, we had a lot of time to plan, but anytime I emailed or contacted the VB team with queries or for clarification on finer details, I always got a quick response, usually same day, but at most 2 days. The team clearly work incredibly hard for all their couples and this is evident through their care and attention to detail. No ask was too much, and actually Juliet was really helpful with a few suggestions too, which made our day run smoothly.We visited the venue a couple of times throughout our planning stages and were always welcomed with a very warm smile. This venue has a lovely personal feel to it.The morning of the wedding was wonderful, having the bride and bridesmaids being able to get ready at the venue with our chosen suppliers was an absolute god send, and something that made the morning feel all the more special and actually quite relaxing. The pool area is well maintained and makes for some really lovely getting ready" photos. We didn't have time for a swim

Villiers Barn – A dream come true. It is hard to put into words how amazing this venue is! It is simply perfection. This is probably the most-deserving five star review we’ve ever had the privilege of giving and we feel so blessed to have had our wedding at Villiers Barn in July 2023.From the moment we visited Villiers Barn in September 2021 and met Juliet, my now husband immediately turned and said to me ‘this is the one!’During the wedding planning process, Juliet, Jonathan and the team were always happy to answer any questions (and there were many). We always received a very prompt response and were made to feel like we were their only couple and part of their extended family.On our wedding day Juliet & co were on hand to calm the nerves, get everyone in the right places and run the day just like how they know best. You can tell their years of working in the wedding industry have helped them create something truly special - they know what works. It was lovely for us to be able to step back and just enjoy our day without any worries in the world. Nothing was ever too much trouble.The FOOD – don’t get us started! Probably some of the best we’ve ever had in our lives. We cannot fault a thing.The honeymoon lodge was an added luxury to end a perfect day.You only have to read all of the beautiful reviews to know that Villiers Barn is such a gem and really does have it all. You couldn’t ask for anything better!Overall, there aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are. To the Day family and all of the staff at Villiers Barn, thank you for welcoming us into your home and business, and taking care of us on our wedding day and the 2 years leading up. Villiers Barn is the most amazing venue, it is a family run business and the love they have for their business shines through everything they do. From the moment we looked round Villiers we fell in love, Juliet and Jonathan answered any questions I had nice and quickly and let us come round and look whenever we wanted.When we got to Villiers Barn the morning of our wedding I was greeted by so much happiness, they really do love every wedding and are so happy to help with absolutely anything. They set everything up perfectly for us and didn't miss a single detail. The whole day they checked in with us and made sure everything was going well and brought us our drinks and canapés to ensure we did not miss out. Food was really nice, all of our guests especially loved the canapés and chocolate brownie. The day ran so so smoothly and that's thanks to Villiers. They went above and beyond and we can't Thank them enough for the most special day! If your looking for theperfect venue... this is it! 1000% recommend!!!

What an incredible venue Villiers Barn is, truly! My husband and I were truly blown away by how much we fell in love with the venue. Villiers was the first place we viewed in our searches and we didn’t really know what to expect, but upon being greeted the moment we arrived by Juliet we instantly seen how much love and passion she had for the venue. It was something we didn’t see from anywhere else and well nothing was able to compare to Villiers, we started with the best & we got the best!We noticed during our searches that Villiers was offering more than just a stunning venue, the owners and the staff who worked there was on a different league. We felt valued and made to feel as if we weren’t just a number or another couple looking for a wedding venue, but rather we were friends. All communication we held with Juliet and her family was amazing, no question was too small or silly. Also when all your suppliers have nothing but amazing words to say about the venue and staff you know you’ve picked a pretty special place.The actual venue is truly breath taking. You NEED to view it in person because (I mean this in the best way) pictures really don’t do it justice! The bridal preparation cottage was just perfect, it’s a great size and made for a very peaceful morning for my mum, bridesmaids and myself which is exactly what you need! The honeymoon cabin was truly gorgeous and was the perfect place to spend our first night & morning as husband & wife. I could honestly go on and on… but even if you’re unsure I highly recommend going to view Villiers Barn, because it will not disappoint!I highly recommend doing food tasting because it allowed us to not only spend more time at the venue, but we were able to treat it as a little date night for the 2 of us to celebrate that we were getting married in the stunning place that was Villiers (plus the food is incredible!!!). On the big day itself our guests raved on how good the food was, we had some very fussy eaters and they loved that they were able to eat wedding food supplied by the venue for the first time haha! Huge thank you to Villiers for being so accommodating for the fussy eaters, along with those who had special dietary requirements, ourselves included!We feel so lucky and grateful to have found Villiers Barn in our searches, we’ve got only the happiest of memories with the venue and the staff! It’s sad to think that our time with them has come to an end! We can only hope that our paths cross again some way or another!You made our wedding dreams a reality, our only wish is that we would love to re-live the day all over again.Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I got married in June at Villiers Barn and can safely say, it truly was everything we had wished for and more!Firstly, when my now husband and I viewed Villiers Barn, it was the first venue we had looked around and were met with Juliet and Jonathan waiting for us on our arrival. They gave us a thorough and detailed tour of the venue, and ran through what a typical wedding day looked like. They also found out it was my birthday on the day we were viewing and kindly gifted me a bottle of prosecco to take home! We left feeling so excited, confident we would be in safe hands and just knew it was the right venue for us. We did go on to viewing other venues we had already booked in, however nothing compared to how beautiful Villers is, and the exceptional treatment and attention to detail from the staff!During the planning of our wedding, I had many ( many!) requests, which Juliet and Jonathan were always on hand to offer a prompt reply or help with, putting our minds at ease. We also had a fully vegan wedding, and whilst they have offered vegan options before, this was a first for them to host a solely vegan wedding, but you would never have known! The food was absolutely incredible with many of our guests saying it was the best food they had eaten for a long time, wedding or otherwise. I would also highly recommend booking in for a taster session as this is a very special memory we have of visiting the venue again just the two of us, and really built the excitement even more!On the day of the wedding, they gave us their full attention, with nothing being a problem for them to do. Becky, Juliets daughter, was so calming and helpful and could see I was a little stressed and nerous and took the time to offer me a drink to calm my nerves and take any pressure off me! The day ran so seamlessly with nothing going wrong, all food and drink were served consistently and all our guests knew exactly where to go and when. Every single person had a smile on their face from start to finish.I cannot thank the team enough for all they did for us to get our dream wedding, I wish we could do it over!

Villiers Barn was the first venue we viewed and we fell in love with it straight away, there was no need to look elsewhere! Everything is done to perfection and so well thought about.Jonathan, Juliet and the whole team at Villiers Barn are amazing at what they do and you can see they love what they do too.Our day was absolutely perfect, the venue it’s self is stunning, we simply couldn’t fault a thing.Jonathan and Juliet were always available to answer any questions we had leading up to the wedding, nothing ever was too much trouble. It is hard to put into words how amazing this venue is! As soon as we arrived on our first visit, we knew this was the venue for us. Juliet was so welcoming and her and her family have put so much love and attention into converting the barn into the perfect wedding location. It is a beautiful venue and every little detail has been considered.Juliet and Jonathan were great at communicating throughout, answering our hundreds of questions and accommodating all of our requests.On the day, everything went so smoothly and we did not have to worry about anything. The thing we loved most is that this venue does not feel like a business and the whole team at Villiers Barn genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible for us.The honeymoon lodge is amazing, it was so lovely to wake up in such a peaceful location and sit and have breakfast by the lake.We cannot thank you enough!
