I've been a student of Michael's for over 9 years now and I've gone from an absolute beginner in both bass and guitar to being grade 6 and 7 in both.I really enjoy the lessons because it's more than just passing grades, he always keeps it interesting with different genres and going into the skills and theory behind them.I'd highly recommend him to anyone from any skill level.

I had lessons with Mike via Zoom in 2021. I had learned guitar as a teenager but never really got very far. I thought it would be a good thing to pick up again and was really pleased with how I progressed with Mike's support. Mike paced lessons to my needs and pushed me in a way which kept things interesting. I can now play and sing a range of songs and am working on my blues scales. I'd highliy recommend lessons with Mike.

I have learnt and played musical instruments all my life and as part of my midlife crisis I decided to learn the Bass guitar. Mike was referred to me by friends who were aware of his excellent teaching style. I have had lessons both on person and on line and they are equally as good.i would thoroughly recommend Mike as a tutor for Bass, guitar or Ukulele, age is never an issue
