As-salaamu'alaykum! If you are seeking a strong, resourceful, supportive companion and guide to accompany you through your birth journey, I cannot recommend Amy enough! Amy filled so many gaps in knowledge, understanding and information for me, I always had someone to turn to and share my feelings or concerns with, get support from and put questions to. Amy even helped me refine my birth plan until i was satisfied with it, and made the home-birthing experience so wholesome and soothing! I will most definitely be booking her immediately for any future pregnancies! (There was also an absolutely amazing, luxurious post-birth hamper with lots of organic, handmade goodies - which I used all of and really appreciated! Absolutely stellar, professional but very warm service! Thank you, Amy, forever grateful xxx

Amy is one the most caring, passionate and genuine sisters I have come across allahuma barik. She cares for her role as a doula and birthworker and gives her heart and soul into it. Having her as my doula was truly a blessing alhamdullilah. Highly recommend her, for any woman and especially for Muslim women.

I had the pleasure of having Amy as my virtual doula for the birth of my first child in December. I had already planned to have a home birth however the NHS service I was under was making it difficult. Just after the consultation call with Amy she directed me on my options to achieve the home birth I was after - I put her suggestions into action and everything started going in the right direction and that's when I knew I had to have her as my doula - even if that means virtually (still looking forward to meeting her in person!).I hired Amy only a couple of months before giving birth and it was the best decision I made as her advice was vital towards the end of my pregnancy and planning. I had already been trying to get familiar with birth rights etc. However having Amy there to ask questions on the spot (and she is extremely responsive even before she's on call with you) was a huge huge help. We also had our planned antenal and postnatal sessions which had been a great help. She even placed so much importance on planning your postpartum period which as a pregnant woman, especially first time mum can be underestimated or even overestimated. Her own experience of motherhood made it so easy to resonate with her, especially as a practicing Muslim woman who places Islam at the forefront of her choices. May Allah bless Amy and her family Ameen - I honestly don't know how she does it all, doula, mother and business woman and yet she can make time for impromptu catch ups and for answering questions.Although I had Amy as a virtual doula I felt like she was with me, even over a video call she is so present and observant allahumma barik laha. She was able to suggest things to help me through my labour and notice how my labour was intensifying even over a video call. She was regularly affirming my capability to birth and giving me encouraging and calming words. I honestly wish she could have been present in the room with me just for another layer of comfort - maybe next time haha.She helped me achieve the home water birth I dreamt of even though there were so many odds against me from the NHS especially as a first time mum with bmi and ICP (cholestasis) issues. Even the smallest suggestions during the end of my pregnancy helped so much in terms of dealing with reflux, baby positioning, diet suggestions to keep my bile acids regulated, opening up the pelvis etc. She had also been a huge support for me postpartum in terms of my emotional/mental health and I cannot explain how much that was needed. Finally, the cherry on top is her postpartum care kit she sent me - has been so helpful!

I came across Amy's page whilst I was pregnant with my third child. I had two very traumatic births and did not want the same experience again. Although I did not get a chance to use her services, after I spoke to her about my experience and reading all her posts and advice about birth, I felt that I learnt how to be more in control of my birth which completely changed my experience this time round. Alhamdulillah with her advice and the knowledge I gained from her posts on social media, I was able to have a much better birth. I would definitely recommend using her doula services!
