I'm a Primary School Caretaker and used HBS for the first time. After placing the order for a salt spreader, I came across it cheaper elsewhere.HBS matched the price even though I had already placed the order. Unfortunately, the salt spreader didn't work as advertised and so HBS helped me on a technical solution by sending me out some supplier approved ground salt FOC to use through the spreader to see if this would be better.I was still not satisfied, and so HBS gave the school a free return and full refund. Even though I didn't get the product I wanted, HBS customer service is the best I've come across and will certainly be using them again and again!Thank you to Rebecca Beal and Kukila Patel in the Customer Service Team who were excellent.

I have just been introduced to this company and am finding their service excellent. Great communication and very efficient, delivery is well packaged and arrives on time. Products are budget friendly and of a high quality (non-branded). If you are looking for a stationery supplier, give this company a try, you will not be disappointed.

An absolutely phenomenal company and always a pleasure to deal with. Our school has been ordering with HBS for almost 10 years and they have always provided a high quality and faultless service.Prices are competitive, it's incredibly easy to order, whether by website, phone or email, and the delivery is super fast (next day if ordered before 3pm) via their own delivery drivers, which we especially appreciate as it means we get usually get the same delivery person each time!On the rare occasion we've had to make a return, or something hasn't been quite right, the issue is resolved within a few minutes of speaking to someone.The quality of HBS own-branded products is brilliant and provides excellent value for money. We've found that we've replaced most of the name branded items we used to order with the HBS ones and notice no difference but are saving a fortune, which is so important for schools right now. They also offer amazing volume discounts.We could not be happier!

I do not normally write reviews but I wanted to praise Kukila and the staff at HBS for the excellent customer care our school received following a delivery issue recently. They kindly rescheduled the delivery at their expense, going above and beyond to express how much they value our custom.

Harry Kemp has made my life so much easier and pain free after arranging to deliver year group boxes of consumables all neatly labelled for direct delivery to the teachers, no more counting out of pencils and glue sticks! An amazing and efficient service and competitively priced too! Well done!

The DET has been using the HBS group as its primary supplier in excess of ten years and I personally have been dealing with them for seven years. The staff at HBS are fantastic from the account managers to the delivery drivers and everywhere in between.All of them are friendly, helpful and professional. They also have an extensive range that covers almost everything an educational institution could need. On the rare occasions that they do not stock a certain item we need, they have gone out of their way to find it for us.I cannot recommend them enough. I have worked on a consultancy and training basis with the staff and directors at HBS at regular intervals for the past 4 years. I have found the team to be very receptive to ideas and suggestions on improving sales and service quality. I have found the directors to be straightforward, professional people to do business with, they provide clarity on on what is expected from me as a supplier and they consistently challenge me to tell them how they can improve the quality they offer to customers. When it comes to finances I have found HBS extremely professional. Invoice are paid on time, all of the time without exception.
