John Holmes Dental Surgery

Recently registered and took my children for check ups. Brilliant dentist, staff are welcoming, kind and accommodating.

This review is in regard to Dr Haitham. I have had several dentist whilst being a patient at John Holmes Dental Surgery, and Dr Haitham is my latest. Then dentist before him completed a filling in a difficult position (well I think so) and sadly, it failed within a short period.I started experiencing pain in what appeared to be an interdental space between a crown and the back tooth. I booked an appointment for about 10 days later. When I saw Dr Haitham he X-rayed the area. He discovered that the filling had failed and a wisdom tooth (I didn't know I had) was pushing on the roots. The tooth had to be extracted. Due to it coming up to the Festive Season, he recommended it be removed ASAP. An appointment was made next day for the extraction after he jiggled his schedule. The extraction process was painless apart from the injection in the roof of the mouth. And strange seeing all these tools going into the mouth and not feeling anything except pressure. I thought he broke the tooth and then he asked me to bite down on some wadding. As I did that he showed me the tooth with the cause easily visible. There was a small piece of root snapped off but present. It is five days since the extraction and have suffered no pain thus this review. Thank you Dr Haitham.

I called 3 weeks before I turned 30 and they said call after you are 30 so I did and they've changed the age to 65.I have 2 different teeth that are falling apart, 1 of which has lost its filling. I cant eat due to the pain, my face is swollen and my gum is bleeding and they are still refusing to see me for an emergency appointment.ive called every dentist from here to cambridge this week and no one can see me as they are prioritizing their own patients. If I was already on the private list I could get seen. But there is a wait list to go on that aswell.If I could afford to be private I could get seen.

I have been been undergoing a new smile makeover thanks to the dentist shruti and her nurse Sarah .. they gave me exactly what I wanted! I now have a new transformed smile that I am not afraid to show to anyone.Thank you shruti, sarah and all the John holmes dental team

I’ve been a patient at this dental surgery for a number of years and have seen three different dentist’s over this period. Like a lot of patients, I’m quite apprehensive when visiting the dentist.My last four visits I have been blessed to have seen Lena-Joy. The last three occasions have been for acute dental pain.Today, Lena-Joy and an equally professional dental nurse, Christina treated a badly infected tooth. I was in the chair for over an hour and they both repeatedly checked my discomfort level and kept me updated with the treatment stages.The professionalism and patient interaction of Lena-Joy is an absolute credit to the surgery and to the wider dental profession.If there were awards for the kindest and most professional dentist in the UK, Lena-Joy would have my vote without question.Thank you

I received excellent dental treatment from lovely dentist Leena Joy. She did superb repair work on my two cracked front teeth. She has restored my smile. I am so pleased. She has also been so thorough in her check ups and advice. Thank you.

As a new patient at John Holmes surgery I am very pleased with all the staff from receptionists, nurses and lovely dentist Leena Joy who worked on my teeth. Every one at the surgery is very friendly and helpful. Leena took time to explain the procedure and work needing doing and was friendly and professional. I had no pain during or after a 50 minute appointment. The nurse Sarah and Leena made it a pleasant not stressful experience. I have had no problems since the procedure 2weeks ago.
