Haworth Village Hall

Lovely building, in a beautiful area, Howarth is more than worth the effort and time spent and taken to get there to have a fantastic day and a beautiful place

Visited for Haworth Steampunk. Venue is big enough but looks a little dated and in need of some TLC but a lot of potential.

One of the venues used for trading during the Haworth Steampunk Weekend - a bit of quirky fun in aid of a good cause.The facilities seemed in good order for the most part, still a couple of damaged windows but otherwise fine. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with fair prices at the cash bar. Toilet facilities felt the strain of the crowds, but would be more than adequate for smaller events. All in all it worked well for the daytime events.It also saw use for the evening entertainment that formed part of the weekend's festivities, and it worked well enough here too. The acoustics were fine, but it could have done with some exterior lights as the darkened entrance road and small car park were quite hazardous in the pitch darkness. Inside things were cosy enough though.

Brilliant 1940,s w/end..Full of atmosphere...Singers..Dancing...people dressed in military & civilian 1940 s...stalls selling vintage clothing & bric-a-brac...people friendly & fun....Only downside...lack of public toilets...lots of portaloo,s out of order ( on a bizzy Event w/e ?? )...organising Coach parking is shocking by marshalls !!..coaches waitn on steep hill to gain access to coach parking because Marshalls " have allowed motorhomes & wagons & cars to park stupidly on access route !!! Unbelievable...Sort your act out " MARSHALLS "....dont let that put you off its brilliant w/end..."

It's a vital part of Haworth's community but needs more funding. They do great job.

Went as part of the 1940s weekend display could have been better signposted

A day out with my grandaughter, nice little cafe play day and an added bonus of meeting some birds of prey all booked on line.

Great venue in the heart of a lovely charming village. With a large hall, stage, breakout rooms and bar area this venue is ideal Ideal for Childrens parties or social events. Outside there is a large car park offering visitors plenty of space for vehicles.

Beautiful Place and Home of the Bronte family.
