I have had lessons with James over the last year after trying a number of clubs over various locations as I travelled in the Army. James has managed to turn me from being an embarrassing amateur to someone now proud to own some clubs!James doesn’t just instruct golfers, he understands the aspects of your abilities as a golfer by subtly and efficiently building your game which you quickly notice when comparing scorecards. I agree with an earlier review; there is no over-promising of ability improvements, simply clearly articulating the opportunities tailored to you. I only wish I could attend more frequently! Easily recommended.

I booked a series of six lessons with James at the beginning of 2014. I'm in my late 40s and have started to play golf more regularly as my fitness for cricket has diminished! Up until this year I've been pleased with the occasional score in the low 90s, but I set myself the target of breaking 90 during 2014.James is a good, honest coach. He tries to explain concepts so that you as the golfer know what you're doing. He doesn't make ridiculous promises and makes it clear that you do need to practice if you want to improve.Last week I scored a new PB of 82, and I genuinely feel that the guidance given to me by James at the beginning of 2014 has been fundamental to my improvement. He's also an extremely nice, genuine guy. I'm very happy to recommend him.
