Saferide Motorcycle & Scooter Training

Oh wow, what can I say. I had such a wonderful time today!I passed my CBT a couple of weeks back and Tony invited me to do a trial run on a 700.After doing some slow control work (figure of eights, U turns etc), we went out on the roads.Tony made sure I felt confident and he knew exactly how far to push me so that after the session I felt like I had achieved a great deal.The set up is not just very professional but it's super friendly, with a fun vibe which is exactly what's needed when approaching a new adventure like this.I can't quite believe that I experienced different kinds of roads, speeds and situations on a SEVEN HUNDRED today. I'm feeling chuffed to bits and I owe Tony a massive thank you! Cheers mate :-)

One of the best instructors I have had, Ian was absolutely amazing he genuinely cares and wants you to do your best and is very patient. It’s not just a pass from the team at safe riders, but they really want you to learn and understand the fundamentals of riding. Honestly the best experience I have had would highly recommend!!!! Tony was amazing on my first day! Helped me a lot to understand in such a small amount of time I had, not safe riders fault but mine. Sue was amazing and understanding and did everything she could do to try and fit me in around my work schedule. A massive thank you to all at safe riders!!!

I've just past my mod 2 test through Saferide, and I couldn't recommend them more! Tony was fantastic - well humoured but very calm, patient and thorough. He put everything into ensuring I was confident and comfortable for both my mod 1 and 2, working around my limited availability and finding time to arrange weekend practices. He provided exceptional coaching and service! Thanks Tony and Saferide!

My instructor was lovely! I told him I was worried about cornering due to PTSD and he took his time helping me build my confidence. I felt comfortable on the road and the atmosphere was great. Our instructor gave us breaks to cool off for a few minutes before moving on. Amazing instructor. Only place I will go to for any bike training in the future! I did my CBT on an automatic but they had so many geared options including bikes suited to shorter riders!

Glad to have passed my CBT with Saferide school, m as a beginner with Tony.Tony was brilliant, he gave clear instructions along with all the opportunities needed for learning as well as providing constructive feedback and repeating where needed. I found that Tony was patient, he had a lighthearted approach which put people at ease but also gave all serious professional advice as necessary. Thank you to Tony and the rest of the team, by the end of the training I felt confident and comfortable with being able to ride my moped on the road. Would highly recommended. Thank you!

Fantastic experience! I did a new rider course with Des and also the first part of my CBT with Des. What can I say. Such a patient person. A real natural teacher. I really loved both days and came always feeling confident that I can progress well. Tony did the Road test of the CBT and was great as well. All 60 years of experience were apparent. 5 stars from me!

I had a fun morning with Steve nurturing me back into riding a motorbike safely after 30+ years of abstinence!It was certainly worth doing and after full instruction, practicing manoeuvres and safety techniques in their private area off road, we then went onto the road and put it fully into practiceI now feel so confident I’m placing my order for a motorbike. I’m so pleased that I completed the back2biking course

Exceptional Motorcycle Training Experience!I recently completed my A1 motorcycle training with Safe Riders in Shoreham, and I couldn't be more impressed. Steve Underwood, the lead instructor, is an absolute gem. His clarity, authority, and dedication to ensuring a comprehensive understanding of techniques and rules stood out.Steve went the extra mile, repeatedly covering various aspects, and took the time to explore different routes during training. His commitment to safety was evident as he provided valuable insights and watch-outs.I highly recommend Safe Riders, especially with Steve Underwood at the helm. I'd like to express my appreciation to Safe Ride for facilitating my course with John. I must say, John is truly remarkable. He diligently addresses any potential bad habits or safety concerns related to riding. His keen eye for detail helped identify and rectify all errors made during the course, ensuring they were not repeated. Consequently, my test day felt surprisingly easy, thanks to his thorough guidance and meticulous approach.I'd also thanks to Tony for his friendly and helpful throughout the entire process.

The motorcycle maintenance course was supposed to finish at 15:00, it did not finish until 16:15 and I had a 97 miles ride back home. Yes it was 194 miles return trip. Was it worth it?Every penny and little more. There were four us. Steve our instructor for the day is a superb teacher with over 50 years experience in vehicle maintenance. He knows all the parts of the engine like the back of his hand. It was a superb day and we picked up a lot of tips and tricks. The guy did not look at his clock while teaching us he just kept going such is his passion for knowledge sharing. He kept saying let me tell you that, let me tell you this. I am sure if ever I was to break down I will be at least be able to get to the nearest garage.The rest of the staff are also friendly and very caring.I wish all of them the very best for future. As i said to Steve may be one day i will return for a refresher course.
