Blean Bees Eco Glamping

I could not recommend this place highly enough, I spent 5 days in the lovely Honeysuckle Shepherds Hut which has the comfiest bed & everything you need for your stay. It is a perfectly peaceful location whilst being excellently placed to visit Canterbury, Whitstable & Margate.I also recommend the honey, it’s delicious.

We stayed for a weekend in the Shepherds Hut and had a totally relaxing, comfortable stay. Albeit it rained nearly all weekend, it was so peaceful and Tilly was an exceptional hostess. Facilities are well kept, organized, and the Shepherds Hut had everything we could ask for, including a gorgeous fireplace. We will definitely go back.

Tilly’s EcoHut at BleanBees is clean and well-appointed. The photos show you exactly what you should expect.The bed is comfortable, warm, and cosy. We’re an older couple (59 and 63) and we’re not skinny minis but we were very comfortable (a tall person >180 cm might find the bed a bit short). I slept really well even through a big storm — The EcoHut rocks a little bit in high wind but I felt perfectly safe. Consider bringing a fully charged power pack with you for any devices that you want to keep charged.The wood burner is pure heaven if you like a fire. The hut warms quickly and stays cosy. The wool insulation throughout the EcoHut seems a really effective solution.The outdoor shower is easy to use and provides lovely hot water with good water pressure. I stayed at BleanBees on some cold, stormy, rainy days but still found the outdoor shower charming and easy to use.The compost loos are similarly well designed, easy to use, and not at all smelly.My visit was during some of the worst weather conditions (high wind, heavy rain, cold, and dark). To some, the situation would have been singularly uninviting, but my experience was warm comfort, gentle solitude, and beautiful (if wet) country walks in Blean Wood. If you need to get away from everything, visit Tilly’s wonderful EcoHut at BleanBees mid-week in the worst possible weather. If you’re lucky, you’ll be the only one on the site. (I was!) Tilly’s EcoHut is charming, quiet, and beautiful. Recommended.

A really fab weekend at Blean Bees. The Alder bell tent was very comfortable and spacious. The cookware was great quality and the knife sharp as advertised. Sleeping in a proper bed under canvas was wonderful and a really hot shower where you can see the trees swaying in the breeze is a special treat (don’t worry no one can see you). Thank you Tilly.

Me and my family recently stayed at Blean Bees Glamping site in one of their bell tents. We had a fantastic time and although the weather was not great there was plenty of space within the tent to play games.The host was very good at ensuring we had everything we needed when we arrived on site.The toilet and shower area were impeccably clean.Weather its your first time or your a seasoned glamper we would 100% recommend Blean Bees.

It’s our first glamping experience and we enjoyed it very much! I enjoyed the calming silence. Special thanks to Tilly for giving us a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful two nights at the shepherds hut! Everything was clean, fresh and we had everything we needed. The whole set up was so well thought out. We are not experienced campers at all and this was an amazing experience for my two boys (aged 4 and 2). The wood burner kept the hut nice and warm, and we loved sitting out by the fire pit in the dark! We enjoyed a day trip to Whitstable nearby and Canterbury too! And a huge thank you to our host Tilly who returned my sons forgotten - but very precious - soft toy to us!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Secluded peaceful location, professionally run with the environmental friendliness that we should all aim for.We stayed in the Honeysuckle shepherds hut, fabulous bed, good quality bedding and pillows plus everything you could possibly need for a few days away.

We had a great time in the bell tents at Bleanbees this weekend. It was quiet, and a stunning setting. The campsite is well protected by trees and hedgerow and there is a locked entry gate so feels really safe with young children. Compost toilets are great, very clean and not smelly! We were impressed with how much is included with cooking equipment and bedding so we didn't have to bring much ourselves. And the site is close to lots of great walking, beaches and pubs in the area. Highly recommend.
