Braveheart Fencing and Archery

I visited braveheart archer yesterday for archery and it was fantastic. friendly staff and great facilities. I will be back!

My son and I had brilliant time here. The staff, Laura and Bjarne, were friendly, professional and also made it lots of fun. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic day of archery & fencing with great staff! I booked 3 hours of archery & fencing for beginners with head coach Laura who I dealt with through email who was a delight. Bjarn took the lesson on the day, and he was so pleasant - with just the right mix of keeping us all safe and guiding us to improve, but allowing for a ton of fun! Both the archery and fencing were activities none of us had done before, and we all had a blast. The hall itself is quite hidden but easy to get to with Google Maps. As a bonus there was the most beautiful and friendly dog I've ever seen there, too, who was good for cuddles in between ;) Great value and a fantastic day out!

Recently attended the beginners 2 hour archery session.The whole experience was a lot of fun! You are given a bow (matched to your requirements) and a quiver with 6 arrows. After a short health and safety talk and initial training on using the bow, you are given the go ahead to shoot your quiver full of arrows after which a little more training and technique is provided followed by again shooting your quiver full of arrows.Overall, we got the chance to shoot many, many arrows and most of the 2 hours was spent actively engaging in the sport of archery. From absolute beginners at the beginning of the session, it was clear that we all markedly improved by the end of the 2 hours (a testament to the skills of the trainer).The trainer was lovely, encouraging and very good at giving instruction. The pricing was fair (£30 each for 2 hours) and the hourly rates are excellent. Another extra bonus are the two beautiful dogs that come and say hello upon arrival! :)Even though we do not live in Glasgow, we will be making the trip more regularly so we can have more fun shooting arrows! :)

Great space and great value for money. Friendly and knowledgable teachers. £35 for an Introduction to archery, which provided 1:1 tuition and practice for 2 hours - great experience. Two beautiful dogs in residence too!

I can't praise this place enough. Booked myself and my 10 year old son in for introduction sessions and had an awesome time.Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Bjarne is a fantastic mentor and teacher for all levels of archery.we will be back!

I visited Braveheart Fencing and Archery as a Birthday surprise and could not have enjoyed it more. Four hours of fencing and archery was fantastic. The instructor was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would reccomend to anyone who wants a fun day out or to just try something new.

Bjarne's passion for archery was clear while he was instructing us. The session was very personalised and responsive to what we wanted to learn. We did a two hour session and it went by so fast! We have already booked a second session and are hoping to make this a regular visit.
