Pavillion Café
Nice little cafe after a walk around Highfields Park. Offers outdoor seating on a nice day too (very limited). They do a nice selection of pastries and cakes and you can add a shot of flavoured syrup in your iced mocha if you ask! Hot chocolate is a favourite too.A lot of reviews remark on the friendliness of the staff. I can't say if I found them friendly or particularly unfriendly. They do a good enough job serving and they try to move through a queue swiftly if they are busy which doesn't leave much time for friendly chatter.

Passing off watery coffee as 200° coffee, and charging premium prices for it. Didn't get a proper coffee cup and the coffee isn't even made with a batista machine, not impressed to be honest.

Very nice food and drinks selection. Not too expensive and good choice.Only thing was no one was clearing tables and not everyone will adhere to self clear so lots of pots and rubbish left in tables we had to clear before sitting down. But a nice drink and snack.

The place is lovely at Lakeside which have wonderful events and exhibitions. However the cafe staff ruin your experience because they are often rude and impatient. I love lakeside but the cafe itself could improve the quality of the food and the service

Not recommended. Very little choice of food (only vegan sausage rolls, soup, a few wraps and cakes). No crockery or cutlery (dishwasher broken"!). I saw one person buy a soup and asked for a spoon - he was directed to a wooden

Free parking and green space to suit all ages. We had a coffee and a cake over looking the boating lake. Service was very efficient and drinks and food offering extensive. I may be slightly biased as the gluten free choice was impressive.

Terrible coffee, tasted like hot milk, sausage cob dreadful, quality of sausage questionable.Overall poor quality food and drinks, don't waste your money!
