There is a wonderful shingle & a sandy beach running along the front of the prom. It makes for a lovely stroll along the prom. Great light for sunrises across the sea.

I used to live a short distance from Felixstowe, so have visited several times over the years. Being in the area again (August 2023) I decided to visit again to see what has been changed and improved. The first thing I noticed is the new Ferris Wheel. It is a nice attraction to see and it makes Felixstowe look a better seaside resort. I decided not to have a go on the Ferris Wheel though as £6 per adult is a bit over priced in my opinion.I also noticed the changes made to the Manning Amusement Park site, which is now half full of converted lorry containers being used as shops! A great idea that I have never seen elsewhere before. I do think the other half of the site is totally wasted though, with it's old unused empty shops around the edges and that ridiculous dance/entertainment pergola in the middle named The Shed!Felixstowe has certainly improved slightly, however, I do think much more could be done. Having a few good sized gift shops to browse through would be a nice addition to the seafront. A few more quality attractions would be good too, maybe a model village, a SeaLife centre, or go karting track?

Great beach and promenade even though there were rain showers, kept dry and entertained. Good car parking along the beach but also there is a good value long stay car park which requires walking a flight of steps but the view is great there has always been parking and the toilets are clean and maintained.

I enjoy going to this beach, especially last weekend, where we got a chance to watch the largest container ship, which is getting planned in the terminal..

Really like a walk along the seafront. Plenty of opportunity to get food and drink or sit and enjoy the view, or pop into the terraced garden. Unfortunately the pier is not open.

This part of the beach is beautiful and runs along Sea Road. Many car parks and on-street parking spaces. Unfortunately, all public toilets were under refurbishment and closed!!! There were plenty of portable toilets provided as public toilets, but in hot days, it's like a sauna in them! I enjoyed walking all along the beach. There weren't many cyclists or dogs. Very peaceful crowd, all enjoying the beach and the surroundings.
