Can highly recommend Martha - her knowledge of pianos is incredible; within minutes she was about to tell me information about what parts had been restored in the past. She is very thorough and lovely to have in the house! She sprinkles wonderful light tunes throughout the 2 hour tuning process which makes the whole thing enjoyable.

Martha was very organised and on time. We sent a couple of photos in advance, as requested, which helped her know what to expect. She did a great job, with a much-loved upright piano that’s been through generations of family, and needed some TLC. She also treated us to some beautiful playing, as part of her ‘final checks’ which was a nice accompaniment to my WFH day!

Martha was super - polite, cheerful, got on with the job efficiently and our piano sounds SO much better for a good tune! Our piano had also been in the wars a bit following a house move and previously being too close to a window and a radiator, so she suggested a plan to get it back to fighting fit for the long term.I’ll be booking Martha in to keep our piano in top shape in future and would happily recommend her (in fact, I have already).

I just had Martha tune my piano for the first time as our regular tuner of over ten years is no longer available. I'm really very happy with her excellent tuning which as a teacher is something of a necessity. She arrived promptly and after tuning made some good technical suggestions to upgrade parts of the action which she clearly demonstrated, and being an accomplished pianist, could explain from a player's perspective. Professional and polite, she was very easy to have in the house - we will be recommending her to our students, peers and piano playing friends.

We were very happy with Martha. She was very professional and obviously knew her stuff! We had wanted our old piano tuned (second hand and well used from a primary school), and after Martha’s initial assessment, she told us that although she could tune it, she wasn’t comfortable undertaking it as the piano was sadly beyond hope. When we are considering our next piano, though, we will be asking Martha for her advice! We can definitely recommend her and 10 out of 10 for her honest opinion. Thank you very much!
