Brilliant service from this garage. I had a problem where my car did not have the tire pressure sensors which were required to pass its MOT. 2 different garages told me that I needed this job completed at a specialist Hyundai service garage. The one near me wanted to charge £2,600 to do this job! The other Hyundai garage I contacted quoted £300 minimum to fit the tires. Steve Mott fitted new wheels, calibrated the sensors and did an MOT on the car all on the same day and only for £163. I was thrilled to have all of this work done so quickly and at a price where I wasn't being taken advantage of, which was happening at other garages.

Had Mot and interim service today. Greg was brilliant excellent customer service. I just wish I had found this centre earlier as have been going to dealership in Chelmsford for years who leave a lot to be desired. Well done Steve Mott brilliant service. Regards Deborah Nelson

Went to my local Ford garage to have a grinding noise in my car fixed, they kept my car two days, charged me £300 and couldn’t find the cause of the problem. 4 months later, after saving to be able to afford what I thought was going to be a nightmare repair, I went to Steve Mott. 1 hour and £50 later and the issue was diagnosed and completely sorted. Cannot recommend them more, fantastic service and value for money and fit me in at short notice. Brilliant

The staff here are all very professional and informative; able to answer my questions with little jargon & resolved the issue. Overall the experience I have had here was brilliant. Great experience with Steve Mott & Co.The building is situated in an industrial estate, easy to navigate to and find a space to park in the ample off and on road parking availableThe entry way and reception are clean and presentable, with a large service desk where staff are quick to acknowledge you and deal with your enquiry. A waiting area and MOT viewing bay are available, with consideration given to bored kids with a toy box provided.The service bay is clean, filled with racks and tool stations, kept clean and in working order. The fact it's always full means the team is in demand regularly.Once booked, reminders are sent via email and text to ensure your appointment is kept. Upon arrival, cars are booked in and services checked, prices are approximate but often accurate in my experience with them.Timings on work done are pretty accurate, with plenty of phone calls to confirm work before it starts. Work is carried out efficiently and quickly, I have never had issues with any of the parts or services done.Prices are average to the higher end of the market, but for good reason. All parts are sourced from the Bosch parts chain, with long warranties and compatible with the right vehicles.Steve Mott an & Co are always happy to work to your schedule as much as possible, they often take last minute requests if ableI highly recommend them and will continue to use them for my vehicle based antics
