I recently went to collect an order and the older lady working there overcharged me for something as small as a bigga. When I checked on just eat, and realised it was down for £2, it made sense as she had charged me £2.50 and I couldn’t believe it. It makes me realise in general, after adding things up that she overcharged me for what I bought by over £3. If this is done with multiple orders, I can see how money can be made dishonestly. Please be mindful of this if you read this.

On the same level as East London’s JerkPit but in Kent. I ordered via UberEats and one item was missing. Luckily my mum’s house has 24 hour CCTV outside and inside her home with audio. The driver stated there was a hole in the plastic bag on arrival. This issue was resolved promptly by the manager of the restaurant.My only issue is that the business isn’t sustainable as it’s using plastic bags and containers instead of paper that can be stapled, taped and double bagged.They did try to give me a free drink, but I don’t drink that and didn’t accept. I’d suggest either asking the customer via phone or choosing on their behalf a drink that is universal like Coca Cola or water. Ginger Beer is like Supermalt; an acquired taste - not everyone likes it.I’ll recommend it to people looking for Caribbean restaurants in Kent because it’s managed efficiently by Zena Deirdre Campbell.

What a gem in Strood. Came here on a Fridsy evening. Warm greetings. There was so much choice to try. We ended up with jerk chicken and mutton curry. The patties are also a delight. Loved the hot wings. Price great for the amount of food we had. Well worth it. Credit to the owners and the staff that looked after us.

Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding. The type of food you can't help but laugh at how good it tastes. Perfect flavours, piping hot, a solid portion. Melt in your mouth chicken, rice and peas fresh. One of my top 3 in this area of Kent

This place had fantastic comfortable seating. Lunch was a treat for my pal and myself, and we weren't disappointed. The Jerk chicken is moist and succulent. Coleslaw was available, and freshe, finely grated, witha a unique spring onion flair. There was music playing in the background, which created a relaxing ambiance.The hosting was attentive, where an effort was made constantly to insiret all was okay with us.This was my first time here; however, I will be returning, and so should you. My only disappointment was that I had to return to work.

Amazing food, wide selection and cooked from the ❤️ Best Caribbean takeaway we have had in a long time.Rum punch actually had a punch and the food was truly amazing, best curry mutton and jerk chicken ... Portions were decent too.Excellent staff & service, loved the background music.Definite 10 out of 10!!!

Was there at jerk cafe this evening with my partner, very polite and friendly staff, food was a 10 out of 10, I would highly recommend anyone going to jerk cafe, very clean and welcoming. Not over priced and alot of food for a portion.

Real authentic Jamaican meals! The best restaurant around. The food is delicious, 10 thumbs-up for their ox tail and potato pudding, the price is great for the potion of food received and the staff are absolutely warm and friendly. Would recommend Jerk Cafe to anyone without reservation. Took a business colleague there for lunch a while ago and she fell head over heels with the foods and the whole atmosphere of the place.
