Loved the coffee and the croissant. Place is very cute and clean and staff is friendly. Also, they have a great selection of bread and pastries! Definitely recommend.

Lovely little cafe in the heart of south east London. Great fresh pastries/sandwiches and fresh tea. I enjoyed a pot of earl grey and a peach danish. One of my best local cafes I go to. Defo recommend for a good cuppa or coffee and a chin wag with the girls.

Very average cafe. Coffee was ok, but matcha latter barely tasted of matcha, mostly tasted of milk.Pastry wise the cafe was a major disappointment. The center piece of the peach danish is a canned peach.. seems just ridiculous to me. On top of that I’m righting this review in June, peach is in season.. The brioche in raspberry brioche danish is not buttery enough, and the danish itself is lacking filling, so you end up eating bread which feels like let down.The number of 5-star reviews for this establishment has to be addressed in itself. It feels very suspicious to me and doesn’t reflect at all the experience I’ve had.

Stopped in on a rainy Monday morning just after opening. We had delicious pastries (definitely get the sausage roll and the peach danish) and lattes. Staff was very friendly and nice.

We made a lovely discovery this morning at the Irene café. The place is very cute, the staff was very friendly to me and my partner and our dog, as they are pet friendly. We ordered a ham & cheese croissant and a spinach & cheese croissant and they were both delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Lovely coffee and cake! We had flat whites which were really good and some carrot cake, which wasn’t cheap but really tasty and moist. Atmosphere was good with the staff helpful and friendly. Will be going back here.

The place is cute. Pastries were ok.I found the experience frustrating. Staff didn’t know about cake ingredients.There were a few people on laptops. There are signs restricting people to an hour Monday to Thursdays. Some were working quietly. And there was one loud person having a Teams meeting on their laptop.I like to be able to have a coffee and a cake in peace and quiet, maybe catch up with loved ones in person. What I don’t like, is having my personal time hijacked by someone’s work meeting.I fully appreciate that the bakery isn’t responsible for selfish idiots, but it isn’t for me.

a cute little cafe with affordable prices and super kind staff <3went in the morning on thurs and had the ham & cheese croissant which was huge with the hot chocolate for £5 which is a great deal.

The cafe was cute and had a nice vibe to it. I ordered the iced matcha latte which barely tasted of matcha (tasted mostly of milk). The powder was also not dissolved properly so were also lots of bits. Will probably return to try the other drinks and pastries as I did like the cafe itself, but would avoid the matcha next time.

Lovely local cafe with a good selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches which change seasonally. Great little lunch spot! Best Matcha Latte in the area
