Lydney Skip Hire

Was really happy with skip delivered on time filled same day, rang to ask to be collected was told 2 days. Emailed them on the 15th to ask for date to be collected as it hadnt been collected within 2 days as told they responded with you're on the collection list now the 18th still no collection! really frustrating as have a disabled child and skip is blocking our driveway so having to park on the grass to be able to get him in the car safely and causing him melt downs as its a change to his normal routine. Only reason I've given less stars.

Appalling customer service, disorganised office who even after repeated requests, couldn't e-mail paperwork to the correct member of staff. One lorry drove straight across the client's grass island and then did the same in reverse (caught on CCTV) leaving six inch deep ruts in the lawn (for no reason at all other than idiocy!) and when I called to complain and spoke to the owner, he got aggressive/defensive and threatened legal action against me. Very unpleasant indeed. They then removed a partially filled skip without notice and refused to even wait for five minutes while the labourers filled it up a bit. Yes they're the cheapest skip hire locally but then you get what you pay for. I have no idea if the waste is even disposed of legitimately but given the sort of outfit this is, I have my doubts. Fully expecting an unpleasant response and some consequences" of posting this but think that others ought to know who they are dealing with. My strongest advice to you would be to find another skip hire company.If you read the owners responses to other negative reviews you will see how dismissive he is when there is a problem. It's never their fault and they clearly don't give a damn. Don't risk it!Post response: And there we have it ladies and gentlemen. True colours shining through. So easy and time efficient! Ordered the skip, it arrived shortly after and when I called for collection they were there the same day. Friendly and professional. Would highly recommend

I ordered a 6 yard skip for mixed household waste.Delivery was nice and early on the day that I specified when I placed the order. The delivery driver was very friendly and answered all of my questions.I filled the skip after about a week and emailed to say it was ready for collection - this was done the following day; much quicker than I expected!Excellent service all around and for a very competitive cost. Thank you!

I opted to use Lydney Skip Hire after contacting 2 other skip hire companies closer to my site. Apart from price it was the friendly and helpful response I received which was the major factor and has been consistent 4 skips later!All delivered with no issues considering the site is 30 miles from Lydney.I would not hesitate in using their services again.

I used Lydney Skip Hire for removal of rubbish following a new kitchen fitting. They delivered the skip prompty on the date requested. There was no pressure to return the skip by a certain date. I had to wait a couple of weeks for the skip to be collected (hence not a 5 star review), but apart from this minor issue I was very happy with the service provided by Lydney Skip Hire. Recommended.

Brilliant service from Lydney skip hire! not the most local i could've used but best priced and longest term of use by miles! both reception and John who collected the skip were brilliant and left our drive tidy! couldn't recommend them more!

Cheaper than the competitors. Skip arrived 2 days earlier than requested and they took a couple of weeks to collect it so we ended up having it on our only parking spot for 1 month in total. Probably wouldn’t use again for this reason.
