I have given 1 star because I i can't give none.I have been taking 1 of my shihtzus to beautiful dogs for about a year now, but what happened today has left me incredulous at they're total lack of care for their canine customers.Having made an appointment 6 weeks before, as usual, I didnt cancel when a rain storm bust with high winds and driving rain, I took the decision that as I'd made the appointment I would keep it.I, we, arrived 5 minutes early, utterly soaked to the skin. The young women, all 3 of them know I have a 5 month puppy, so although I expected to wait the 5 mins in the windy passage way in the cold, I didnt expect the dogs to be left 20 minutes in it while the women had a good old chin wag and a laugh. After 20 minutes I walked away. My dogs have shown you nothing but the best of themselves, you showed them the worst of yourselves today.My dogs deserve better than the unkindness and utter lack of care and professionalism you displayed today.You won't be seeing me, my dogs or my money again. What you did was unnecessary, unkind and borderline cruel.Thank you for your voicemail. FYI the appointment was for 4.15pm. However, I note you completely deny any responsibility for your behaviour, which was as I stated unkind bordering on the cruel and unprofessional in the extreme. Please do not contact me again. Under GDPR please delete all records that pertain to me or any of my dogs. Thank you.

Lovely polite and friendly staff. I haven't been with my Goldies for a year or so but they have done a great job again today which they always do. They always smell fabulous and look perfectly groomed. Highly recommended.

My puppy visited Beautiful Dogs for his first grooming today. What a first class service - calm, re-assuring environment and Beau smelt and looked amazing! So thrilled and have re-booked. Highly recommend.

Booked my 6 month old Mini Schnauzer in for her first groom for this morning. Arrived 15 minutes early just to be sure we were on time. Took her in, had a discussion with the groomer Alina about our preferences on types of grooming style. Alina was very pleasant as well as knowledgeable about Schnauzer traditional style of groom which is unusual as not many I've spoken to are familiar. Picked Daisy up 2 hours later, we were very, very pleased with the finished look! Thank you Alina, we will definitely be returning customers! We also have another Mini Schnauzer who I usually groom myself, I will be bringing him in too. Thank you.

Left a messageas there was no answer. Great service, they called me back and asked me a load of questions about my dog, but when it was clear that I just wanted a basic wash for my dog, rather than the whole grooming and clipping experience I was told that they had no capacity for new clients. Shame, because I atually have 2 dogs that I would get washed regularly, as I'm unable to do it myself due to health issues.

I cannot thank you enough for how you looked after Lily and me this morning. I would 100% recommend your business as I am so pleased with how Lily looks and how she was treated. I was very anxious as it was a new experience for both me and Lily and you were so reassuring , friendly and gave fab advice! I really felt like I could trust you 100% and the result is amazing. Highly recommended and looking forward to our return visit!

We have taken our wire fox terrier here since she was about 6 months old for her hand strip. Fern loves going and doesn't even look back as I leave her. Sophie does a beautiful job on her and adjusts the strip to our requirements. Best handstrip and groom by far - we travel 40 minutes nobody else has come close to doing as good a job as Sophie.

My young Jack Russell / border terrier cross went into Beautiful Dogs today with a very thick black and white coat and a whiskery face...and she has come out looking ...beautiful!Absolutely delighted with the work done and the kind welcoming staff.Many thanks.

Very poor, i booked my 2 dogs in here for a bath and cut. I was running 10 minutes late. The girl that was working there rang me and said that I had missed my appointment and that i had to pay 50% for each dog as a cancellation fee. When i explained that i was only 5 mins away and stuck in traffic she told me to hurry up! When i arrived (15 mins late) i was told that they now didnt have time to do both dogs and i was to choose which one they should do! I chose the spaniel and was told to return in an hour ( seems like a very short amount of time to bath and cut and dry a cocker spaniel to me ). I returned and collected him, paid £37.00 & left. By the time i had got home my black spaniel had absolutely covered my black leather car seats with what i can only guess is talcum powder. My wife had to get the scissors and cut around his eyes, mouth and legs where he hadnt been cut properly. We both beleive that he wasnt bathed at all and the talc was to make him smell better ( bearing in mind that we had told them that he had a skin problem and to not use unnecassary products on him ). Absolutely dreadful first time experience. My advice is find an alternative as we now have. Very very poor!!
