Highly recommend this wonderful place with authentic Nepal and Indian dishes. The food is just out of the questions: just taste it, and you will understand what I mean. I know good Nepalese and Indian kitchens. This restaurant gives a wonderful experience of best flavours of Nepal and India.

Genuinely good, non-greasy, Indian home cooking. You can eat this food daily and not get sick unlike with much more fattened dishes served at most other restaurants.I advise to book in advance as it gets busy.Do order veg momos!

Roti dry, meat dry , sauce lovely.Mixed grill at 18.95. Very poor standard. Had many Indian and Nepalese meals. This on reviews looked gold, sadly very substandard.I maybe had a bad night as other customers refused their starter.Shame

A perfect place to choose from a variety of delicious Nepali and Indian cuisines. Food is so delicious and restaurant is cozy with hospitable hosts. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

I have two Nepalese restaurants in my home town of maidstone. They are excellent.I thought I'd try Kathmandu last night, with two favourites of mine. Black lentils and a lamb tarkari. I was disappointed. The curry had lots of tender meat, but was dry. No sauce to speak of at all. I asked for a bit of sauce to wet it up a bit and was charged £5.75 for it. I refused to pay for that and it was removed from the bill.The lentils had very little of the flavour I'm used to. And a portion of lentils was nearly £12!!! Seriously!?In all, for 2 people with 3 beers, £78 without the service charge and with the charge for the sauce removed. Absolutely not worth it. Rather bland. Won't go back.

Wonderful place with varieties of delicious Nepali and Indian cuisines to select from. Biryani and Paneer chilli were lovely, it was a treat to my taste buds. The staffs were warm and friendly. Highly recommended!
