Boutique Camping at Scaldersitch Farm

Stayed here with a group of friends. We had exclusive use of the campsite, and it was absolutely perfect. All the extra touches - coffee machines in the teepees, dressing gowns, fire lighting service by Ian, and the breakfast hamper - were much appreciated. Can’t wait to go back again with my partner, a great retreat to nature. Hot tubs were wood fired with jets so nice and cosy with lots of bubbles!

Best glamping experience ever. Private tipi with allocated on site bathroom so no sharing. Huge barn kitchen with incredible breakfast supplies. The tipi and the wood burning hot tub were INCREDIBLE. Comfiest bed I've slept in in a long time. Such a great experience. We went as a couple to celebrate out engagement, we cannot wait to go back. Lots of family friendly rooms and amenities. Just 10/10. Money we'll spent.

This place is magical. It's 5* glamping with double beds, hot tub and private bathrooms. Such a beautiful countryside spot to hide away, filled with farm animals to keep you entertained. Ian and Catherine could not do enough for us and made our mini moon such a special experience we will never forget. We'll be back.

Absolutely gorgeous yurt. Everything was just perfect. The hot tub was on for when we arrived, the details in the yurt are lovely, from the bedding, the towels, the robes. Log burner keeps you nice and warm. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing and taking in the views. Quiet and peaceful. Arrival breakfast pack was delicious. Catherine and Ian are the most wonderful hosts. Cannot wait to visit again!

Our second visit here this weekend and it didn't disappoint! The owners have it spot on, combining rural adventure with a lovely bit of luxury. Accommodation is spotless, every amenity you could want. Cannot rate this place highly enough..our boys want to make it a yearly trip and to be honest it won't take much persuading for us. Can't wait for 2022!!

Absolutely fantastic very relaxing and a beautiful area to stay. The host went out of there way to make our stay extra special. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely stunning place! Beautiful setting and fantastic facilities. I stayed in the woodpecker yurt with my husband, 8 yr old son and 1 yr old son and it was very spacious. The owners Catherine and Ian are very warm and welcoming and have gone that extra mile with everything available. Small reading light, fresh flowers, beautiful furniture and everything you can think of for cooking and dining ect your own washing up bowl and sponge and cloth, washing up liquid and Dettol! The attention to detail is just lovely. The kitchen and dining area in the main building is kitted out with everything you could possibly think of too and the decor is done to a very high standard. It really is luxury. We had our own toilet and shower which was great too. Catherine greeted us on arrival and explained everything to us, my son was so excited to go in the hot tub but I had told him he might have to wait a hour or so till we had set it up. When we got there Catherine had already done it for us so it was good to go! My son was straight in and it was great.The warm freshly baked pastry’s with our complementary breakfast were delicious too. We will definitely be back again! Genuine 5 stars!

Just returned from a last minute break and cannot praise this gorgeous location highly enough. The attention to detail is first class, facilities were spotless, location lovely... all the little extras that just make you feel so welcome and looked after (breakfast hamper, hot tub being lit for check-in and for your return each day). It was a welcome haven to return to after Alton Towers! Wish we had been able to stay for longer.Despite mixed weather - it was lovely sitting in the hot tub both in the drizzle, as well as being able to enjoy those Peak District dark starry skies.Diolch yn fawr!(Stayed as a family of 4 in Cuckoo Yurt)

To really appreciate how special this place is, Scaldersitch has to be seen in real life. It's luxurious, modern and unbelievably cosy all at the same time.The rolling green hills all around make a dramatic backdrop for picturesque wedding days. As a celebrant, my favourite spot is the barn where ceremonies take place. But the best thing is the warm welcome from Catherine and Ian who have lovingly created this little haven in the Peaks.10 out of 10. If you're planning an intimate wedding in the Peak District, I definitely recommend viewing!
