Decent goods. They’d do well to upgrade their lane outside as it can damage the average vehicle. You have to weave in and out all over the place to avoid the pot holes. Some signage upon entry would also inform customers (especially those who haven’t been there before or haven’t visited for a while) about the “system” in use. Customers need to drive in and and reverse upto the “loading” spot. This seems fine in principle but turns into mayhem on busy days in winter when several cars are queuing plus their own trucks/workers are busy shifting things across the yard.

I had a great experience with C&B Coal. Will delivered 2 bags of hard wood and 2 bags of kindle today. He was very knowledgeable about coal and wood prices, and he gave me some helpful advice about why things were going up in price. He also gave me 2 pallets and helped me move the wood into a storage area at the side of my house. If you live in and around the Rossendale area and are working on your garden, it is definitely worth checking out these guys. Don't be fooled by the name, they do much more than coal!! They are extremely competitive on price, will deliver for free if you are buying in bulk and, what's more, they are incredibly helpful with making sure they deliver exactly where you want it. I have a very tricky access road to manoeuvre and they managed to get the truck down there with literally centimetres to spare either side, so that my topsoil could be delivered to the back of the house rather than the front - saving me countless wheelbarrow trips and an aching back!! Top guys; thoroughly recommended .
