By Request prepared and served a lovely buffet after my father's Thanksgiving service. Carl could not have been more helpful; there was plenty of food; it looked great and we had so many compliments about the quality of everything. They even put together special plates for our coeliac vegan guests, which were much appreciated.

Wow! Wow! What an amazing experience by Carl and the team.I had organized my best friends surprise 50th Birthday meal. Carl had provided the best customer experience ever.... professional at all times!We had a an evening of fine cuisine in a remote house for 30 guests.Carl took the stress from the stress from the evening! With his reassuring words and professional manner it left us to enjoy the evening.Beautiful food * Friendly attentive silver service * and so clean! They had cleaned up after the evening and you wouldn't of known they had even been there! Just fabulous and thank you from the bottom of my heart..... Take care :)

Carl and his team catered for our event (80 people). From the minute we started planning up to the day of the event, his communication was excellent and we could not have asked for a better service. He helped us finding the perfect menu that suited the venue and our budget. He invited us to try the food in advance and we were delighted to accept the invitation. The food was delicious and just perfect on the day. All the dirty plates etc were dealt with smoothly and the invoice was exactly what we had agreed in advance. I can recommend By Request to anyone who is looking for an excellent service and delicious food.

I used By Request to cater for my Husbands Memorial Day. They were excellent. Carl was so helpful and really pleasant to deal with. He listened to what I wanted and provided exactly what I asked for. The buffet arrived in plenty of time and was set up really quickly. It was really well presented and absolutely delicious. Every guest commented on it. There was plenty of food and they catered for special dietary requirements.All crockery and linen was provided and I hired glasses. All the dirty plates etc were loaded into crates and picked up the next day.I would definitely use By request again and 100% would recommend them to anyone looking for a good, professional and reasonably priced caterer.

Amazing service by By Request Caterers, we recently held our National Annual General Meeting whereby 90 delegates came together from all over the country. From the first contact to the actual event Carl was brilliant and really helpful. The food on the day was excellent with most people saying it was the best food they’ve had at an AGM, we’ve had other local branches starting to ask who were our caterers. Thanks again Carl and the team, you definitely made one element of the day go really smoothly.

Carl and his team catered for a funeral for us and really made it easy. We had a lot to do, as you'd imagine, so the fact that after quick phone call and an email follow-up, everything about the catering was sorted and we didn't need to think about that any more, was greatly appreciated.The food was lovely, all our guests appreciated it, and there was plenty to go round. It appeared discreetly while we were elsewhere, and it was quickly cleared away without any fuss, at the end. We couldn't have asked for anything more.We chose a simple buffet because many of our guests were elderly and a bit fussy about their food - but next time we need caterers, we're looking forward to trying something a bit more fancy from their menu because it all looks delicious and so tempting.So thanks Carl, for making a difficult day that little bit easier and nicer. Very highly recommended.

A summer buffet for 30 people was no problem for Carl: I picked one of the menus as a starting point, and then we tinkered with it to get exactly what I wanted. Carl offered helpful suggestions, but was not pushy at all. When we had to cancel at the eleventh hour (we got 'pinged'), Carl was very understanding. Luckily we were able to rearrange, and everything went perfectly. Carl arrived promptly, set up with no fuss and left a crate for us to stack our dirty plates in (if we wanted to) so we weren't sitting at tables covered with debris. The food was beautifully presented with lovely thick slices of succulent meat, freshly prepared, attractive salads and generous portions of desserts. He'd even prepared a plate of 'extras' for my one vegetarian and another gluten-free guest, which was a lovely touch. The tables looked splendid and the cutlery and crockery were good quality, and there were plenty of serving implements. Everything tasted delicious, and there was plenty for everyone. Carl reappeared at the appointed hour to remove all of the dirty plates and the left-overs. I would wholeheartedly recommend By Request for any event where caterers are required, and I'm looking forward to arranging another event that uses Carl's excellent service.

What can I say other than absolutely fantastic and professional in every aspect. I contacted Carl to cater for our daughters wedding having previously used him. From the start, Carl was excellent, so easy to communicate with in terms of requirements, catered for various dietary needs without any problems. We opted for a BBQ and were able to adapt the menu to the tastes of everyone. The food was amazing, so many of our guests commented on the quality of the food. Carl's team are so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Carl has a calming influence and was there the day before the wedding to assist with the tables and make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the services of Carl and his team at By Request and will always turn to them in the future for event catering.
