Brother Ray Wedding and Event Band

We first heard Brother Ray at a family wedding. They were so good we instantly contacted them to book for our wedding! Due to Covid, we had to wait a couple more years for the big day. Despite this, Julia kept in touch with us and when the day came, we were just so excited. We had their new keyboard player come instead of one of their brass players; she really did enhance their overall sound! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish - by the end of the night, everyone was up on their feet on the dance floor. Cannot recommend them enough!!

We could not recommend Brother Ray enough. Julia was so professional, easy and fast to respond to all our queries. The dance floor was full all night and I lost count of the number of people who approached me on the night and afterwards to say how amazing the band were. It's always a great sign when our guests were calling for more songs after the last one has finished.

Brother Ray performed at our home wedding party, and all I can say is WOW! They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish and know exactly how to work a crowd and fill the dance floor. Would highly recommend!

Where to begin!During the daytime, they kicked things off with an acoustic duo featuring talented Julia with a captivating voice. I have to say, her performance was pure magic. The combination of her soulful vocals and the enchanting melodies created a beautiful atmosphere. It was the perfect soundtrack for pre wedding - and then sipping cocktails and mingling with other guests. They had the perfect balance of setting the mood without being too intrusive.Now, let's fast forward to the evening, where the brass band took the stage and turned the energy up to eleven! These guys knew how to get the party started, and they did it with style. The brass section brought a lively and infectious energy that had everyone on their feet in no time. From classic hits to modern bangers, they played an incredible variety of songs that had everyone dancing and singing along.But it wasn't just their musical talent that impressed me—it was their stage presence as well. The band members were clearly having a blast, and their enthusiasm was contagious. They interacted with the crowd, engaging people of all ages, and creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. It was evident that they genuinely loved what they were doing, and that passion translated into an unforgettable experience for everyone present.One thing I particularly appreciated about this wedding band was their versatility. Going from the soothing acoustic sounds in the afternoon to the energetic brass band in the evening showcased their ability to adapt to different styles and moods. It added a dynamic element to the celebration and kept things fresh and exciting throughout the day.Julia was also super organised. They had the songs that we wanted to walk to and from the aisle queued up, and played seemlesly.If you're planning an event and want a band that can bring the house down with their diverse musical repertoire, engaging performances, and sheer joy for what they do, this band is the real deal. We hired Brother Ray for our Wedding and they were incredible. Great at communicating beforehand and helping with any and all questions thay we had (there were alot)! They also provided the saxophone and guitar for the reception drinks who were also amazing. They really knew how to get the party started and keep it going. Fantastic band! We had Julia and the band play at our wedding in July, they were incredible and created a real party atmosphere. We have had countless compliments from guests saying how much fun they had, can't recall a point when the dancefloor wasn't full. This band is incredible and were perfect for our wedding day. The 8 piece band we had are all super talented, with a particular shoutout to Julia for her superb vocals and engaging the crowd. They were amazing at learning our first dance and their set list catered for absolutely everyone, which meant the dance floor was full all night long.
