Great experience working and learning with Jane. She took us through the WSET course leave 1 with weekly sessions, wine samples and experiments to help us fully understand the basic theory of wine production and wine tasting. Would definitely recommend.

So much knowledge, so much passion!I love wine and I love pairing food with wine.I joined the WSET Level 1 course not because I work in hospitality or anything related to the industry but precisely because I love discovering more and understanding better whatever is important in my life. And wine is important.The sessions were very informative, very engaging and why not, entertaining! Jane has lots of knowledge that she’s eager to share it. She does this in such an engaging way that after a class, you already know so many new things but everything you can think about is how much you enjoyed the process.I know, it’s a serious topic but Jane’s teaching style is so approachable, personal and highly professional that I now want to start Level 2 as soon as possible!

I did the WSET level 2 wine course and Jane was my mentor.Jane is fantastic. I learnt so much about wine from the course and from Jane's guidance and support throughout. I took the course as a wine enthusiast, and now love how I can look at a wine list in a bar or restaurant ante wine even more. This is thanks to Jane and the course. If you're interested in gaining a good grounding in wine (and to impress your friends when you go out :-) ), do one of the courses that Jane offers. She will bring your studies to life and is on hand to help you make sense of some of the more technical aspects of wine and the winemaking process.

I attended the 'Level 1 Awards in Wine' course during the pandemic via zoom calls and it exceeded all expectations. Jane is a wonderful teacher who keeps you entertained right through the course with her engaging teaching style.I now feel much more confident with my new knowledge and love for new wines! I Would highly recommend this course as a introduction to wine.Thankyou again Jane! :)

Excellent delivery- had a great time on this course. The presentation on zoom worked very well. Jane explained things in a palatable way, with plenty of laughs and good wine recommendations. Leaving the level 2 course even more excited about wine than when I started. Highly recommend!

Jane is a very knowledgeable wines expert who has taken us all on a wine journey introducing us to the world of level one. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start a Saturday, the lessons were fun, interactive and well paced all whilst being online instead of in person.Thank you Jane!

Delving deeper into the world of wine with Level 2 is a fascinating and fun journey to take and Jane is a fantastic guide. Finally I can approach an aisle of wine and have some understanding and confidence of the real language of labels without the marketing blurb. I've explored and discovered wines I've never tried or even heard of, learned how to taste them in a more systematic way and begun understanding how to pair with food. I liked wine before but now I think I appreciate it more. A big Thankyou to Jane and my fellow students.x

Jane is a fantastic teacher - knowledgeable, engaging and thorough. She really brings the course material to life, with a good mix of practical activities to reinforce what you are learning. I can't recommend her enough.

Having just completed My Level 1 WSET wine course, I can honestly say, this has been the most wonderful course I've ever taken!Jane is so knowledgeable, insightful, patient and fun! Shes an excellent tutor and brought the course to life with fun experiments to assist with essential parts of the course, helping to understand the make up of wine.After just 4 weeks, I feel much more confident in my wine knowledge and have relit a passion somewhat lost over the years for wine.I look forward to studying with Jane again soon and would highly recommend One Foot in The Grapes to anyone wanting to increase their knowledge on wine, either for pleasure or professional reasons.Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great course, Jane is really knowledgable and friendly. I have learnt so much from the course (WSET level 1) and have a new appreciation for wine and understanding of tastings. It’s provided a great foundation and I can’t wait to take this further and study level 2.
