I have found this store particularly poor on all levels.Head office need to get stocks out to this store in a more urgent fashion, or sack the staff for not getting the ordering right.My experience when I visited this shop was poor for the following reasons;Went to get a well deserved Costa Coffee for a trip home after a very long weeks work, went to the machine to find no lids, no large cups, asked if there was any large cups at the till after a member of staff told me to ask at the tills, because she couldn't be bothered to go and look, he said after he looked, no so it's either a regular or nothing.... Thanks for you help and rudeness there chap. Brilliant service.Secondly, 'meal deal' £3.75! Particularly expensive. Sandwich, drink, and a snack, which is only a choice of crisps, crisps or more crisps, and if there was something else to choice from then it was either no stock or poorly labeled.The bight before I went in, again before a long days work, I almost got over charged even though the offer was litterally beside her at the till. Absolutely ridiculous.Needs a good shake up I'm afraid.

It's a good local conveyance shop. Nice staff decent choice and has limited parking.

Quick in out and they were closing and cleaning up. But staff nice and friendly.

Went here earlier on, totally dissatisfied with the service I received. Went to pay for my few bits of shopping cashier was just chatting away to colleges didn’t say a word to me, and yes not even a hi or how are you? Just left me shocked.

Good ranges in stock.. reasonable prices, very polite and helpful staff. Post Office service excellent !

Best pasties in Looe.

Gillets Spar shop need to address their customer service in their newly acquired post office, and if they are not prepared to do this. I suggest that they renounce their Royal Mail contract and let somebody else more competent have a go at it. We deeply miss Chris at Bowden Stores who was always polite and professional while dealing with customers.

Shop closes at 9.55pm. Not 10pm. This needs reflecting in the current advertised opening times... just rang at 9.49 to say my local shop closed early and could i grab somd milk for my toddler.. was told doors would be closed in 4 mins (even though closing time is advertised as 10pm)? I arrived 2 mins and 25 seconds later at 9.51-52 to be told to hurry up otherwise me and my child would be locked in... id barely stepped through the door!Grabbed milk , paid and was OUT of the door by 9.55pm.... the slightly fat, grey member of staff made my daughter cry and was incredibly rude to us.When i gently suggested that if they are locking the doors between 9.50-9.55pm, then they really should STOP advertising their closing time" as 10PM - the door was abruptly slammed in my face.Have seen other locals treated in the same way.But the false advertising really needs sorting as its causing so many issues.. it could be solved so very easily too! Fml/smh."
