This is my first garden centre to explore and I've bought few plants from this place. During lock down when garden centre was allowed to be open, I came here looking for plants. Its great to come and have a look around and source of some exotic plants for my collection. I always find the staff very friendly. If you want to sit and relax they have their own in-house cafe.

It seemed to very nice place to explore variety of plants, seeds and gardening items to buy. They have arranged and displayed very neatly.I could see some small fruit trees and Herbal plants on display.

When we popped in for a breakfast at the weekend our food and drinks all arrived at different times and whilst the food tasted good, we had to send one plate back as it was undercooked and then the replacement dish was simply over cooked, and sadly the service was very slow. The girls were working really hard in the small space available but lacked any coordination. I would return if it wasn’t at a busy time.

Disappointing Experience with Rude Indoor Staff at The Palace GardenerAs a regular customer to The Palace Gardener, I have always appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the generally pleasant atmosphere of the center. However, my recent experience with one of the indoor staff has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. On my last visit, I encountered a staff member with brown hair who seemed completely disinterested in providing any form of customer service. Her lack of enthusiasm and overt disengagement were evident from the moment I approached her with a question. It was as if she didn't want to be there and her attitude made me feel unwelcome and unwanted as a customer. When I sought her assistance, she responded with blatant rudeness, dismissing my inquiries with curt and unhelpful responses. It was clear that she had no interest in helping me or addressing my concerns. I found her behavior to be unprofessional and uncalled for, especially considering that I am a loyal patron of The Palace Gardener.Customer service is a vital aspect of any business, and this particular staff member's attitude reflects poorly on the entire establishment. It is disheartening to encounter such lackluster service in a place that I once enjoyed visiting. The unprofessional behavior exhibited by this employee tarnished my overall experience and left me questioning whether I should continue supporting The Palace Gardener.I sincerely hope that management takes the necessary steps to address this issue and provides proper training for their staff members. Customers should feel valued and appreciated, not treated with disdain. Until I witness a significant improvement in the level of service provided at The Palace Gardener, I am hesitant to recommend this center to others or return for future visits.

Quality advice you can trust. I came looking for pot and soil to repot my monstera, but after asking for advice and showing photos, the staff here advised it wasn’t ready for a repot, effectively talking me out of spending money with them! Due to this they earned serious trust and I will come back for honest advice and to purchase all my future houseplant needs.

Nice garden centre, loads of seats in the coffee shop. Indoor and outdoor seating available, no wifi, no toilet. Really nice and cosy, and a great place to have a walk through or have breakfast or a coffee.

Treasured local garden centre. Ollie has helped me on my last two visits there - he has an excellent manner and is a real asset to the team.

Popped in to buy my chilli plants some new soil and pots, nice selection of indoor pots to pick from & nice selection of plants. I partially liked the ediable selection of plants separated as I like the idea of filling my home with ediable plants!

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful but this place doesn’t have a wide range of plants and stocks are often low. The prices here are insane so shop around. Great place for a coffee and bite to eat.
