Just ordered a large fish, a sausage and a small chips. Got home to find a small fish that had either been cooked to death or left under the heat lamps since lunchtime, rock hard and the fish inside the batter was all hard and yellow, I couldn't even get my fork to stab into it, shame because the chips and sausage were lovely but we all know a chippy is only as good as its fish! So I got fleeced, got an old manky small fish for the price of a large fresh. Not impressed, will not be going back. Do chippy owners not realise the customer will happily wait for a fresh fish as it only takes a few minutes to fry, rather that giving old over cooked fish that's been under the heat lamp goodness knows how long.

Ordered a kid's chicken nugget meal from here. When I opened it at home, there was a long black hair in the chips.

Good selection of food, however some of my order was forgotten and it’s too far from home to go back to. Nice chip shop, will give it another go.

Absolutely appalling! Chips were so greasy I could have fried an egg on top. Fish had a black hair on it and was small considering it was meant to be a large. Scallop was rock hard. £17 down the drain as we couldn't eat any of it! Avoid!!

Place with typical soft chips, pizza tastes like defrosted Lidl pizza + ingredients you love. 6 people working and no one knows what's going on. Don't order online.

Went in on a Tuesday with my little girl, and the girl behind the counter was great (Dylan I think her name was) cooked food fresh and tasted amazing, great experience and team, fish was perfect thanks again Dylan and the team

Recently had a delivery through just eat and took over 20 minutes from when he collected it for it to be delivered so everything was cold by time it arrived.Also the large cod was half the size of other chip shops and was mostly batter and was like rubber when trying to eat it!The chips looked like the end of night dregs that had been left over and had no taste to them and the beans equally looked as bad.I don't throw food away normally but 90% of what was ordered was binned, the fish was so bad I didn't even feed it to my dog and the bits I did eat left me we an upset stomach.I thought I'd give this place a second chance as I had a similar bad experience over a year ago from here but seems nothing has improved. Shame because before these two poor experiences I've had some decent food from there.
