Great experience to join Sam’s lessons. I have learned a lot wonderful voice warm up exercises and training techniques. The floor work helps my whole body to connect with my voice and now it becomes my daily routine. You will also learn a lot about languages, most importantly, how to speak with confidence. Highly recommended!

Sam is truly a fantastic person to work with, he always creates a way of understanding that is personalised to the way your brain understands information given to you and to retain it. Would highly recommend working with him.

Working with Sam at Elevate Voice is always a brilliant experience. Sam works effectively and with real guidance, clarity and support throughout the sessions in a way that is beneficial but also very enjoyable! The voice and accent techniques that I gained from Sam’s classes have helped me massively as an actor. As well as this, I found Sam’s approach to teaching Public Speaking to be incredibly useful and confidence boosting. The way in which the workshops/classes are held and approached is incredibly accessible and caters to all types of learners - be it visual, kinaesthetic or practical. Sam was a brilliant voice teacher when we had him at Central. He helped me so much with my understanding of the technique required for spoken voice both on stage and screen as well as the anatomy behind the voice. He dedicated time and care to each individual in the class as well as the needs of the whole group. He personally helped both my vocal technique and confidence grow expeditiously, I couldn’t recommend him more!

Sam’s way of teaching is engaging, practical and adaptive (tailoring exercises to individual needs and ways of learning to great effect). I’ve learned a great deal that I use directly in my work and my American Accent has improved dramatically thanks to Sam.We did American political speeches and both my accent and public speaking voice came on leaps and bounds, Sam helped me build confidence, power and authority and also to find nuance to keep the speech engaging! Couldn’t recommend Elevate Voice more highly! Sam’s knowledge of the voice and his fine ear makes some exercise feel like witchcraft (in the best way) and your voice transforms without you knowing how, then the magic trick is revealed and alas it isn’t witchcraft, Sam just knows his stuff and applies it expertly!
