Excellent service. I ordered 2 hens originally and ended up buy 6.The hens are in perfect health and after 2 weeks have settled in nicely with the 6 lohmann browns.I cannot recommend Ham street hens enough and will be buying another 6 before the end of the year.

As first time chicken owners, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Libby was friendly and helpful from the start. We had an issue with a delay in our coop arriving and Libby was totally flexible in changing our collection date. In the end, we even bought one of her lovely recycled plastic coops when our other order fell through! Would highly recommend Ham Street Hens.

Can’t recommend Ham Street Hens enough. Loads advice and guidance given from Libby, from deciding on which hens to have to ensure they all get along ok, to knowing if I have the right size run and coop.I bought 5 hens from Ham Street Hens and will be back buying a few more at some point. Why buy your Hens from Ham Steet Hens?I am a first time hen owner and had to do lots of research before getting them. When I came across Ham Street Hens I liked the choice of hens, with the guidance on if they were for beginners, what colour eggs, how many they lay etc. I liked that they were all vaccinated. Their website is very informative too. When I collected my girls, they clipped their wings, which was good to watch them do for reassurance that it doesn't hurt for when I have to have a go. The girls were in beautiful condition, bright eyes, lovely feathers. When I had a concern about them I emailed for guidance and received a phone call within a few hours to talk me through what to do. I will defiantly buy from them again. My girls are happy healthy hens...and back up from Libby and Coralie is 5*

I have bought chickens twice now from Ham Street Hens & have been more than pleased (thrilled!) by their quality, health & temperament. They are sold with lots of advice, knowledge & reassurance. We bought a half a dozen POL hens for my daughters birthday 18 months ago. Libby was so lovely and let her choose her hens and we also got Matt bantam cockerel to join them. He’s just the best!! Have since been back for some ducks to join our flock and they are laying so well! We’ve also bought sausages and apple juice from Ham Street Hens - YUMMY!!Would highly recommend a visit.

We were looking to have hens at our Bed & Breakfast and were so happy to find Libby at Ham Street Hens. Having never kept hens before, Libby was a font of knowledge and helped us decide on housing, how many hens and all things we needed to know. Once we were all set up we went to get our 8 girls and they have kept our B&B in lovely fresh eggs for two seasons now. We’re looking to expand our flock and will go right back to Ham Street Hens. Libby at Ham Street Hens. Amazing experience buying our 7 girls. We had a great selection of breeds. I had my 2 and 4 yr old with me and Libby was great with them. Helping them choose their chickens and explaining to them how to look after them in a way they would understand. Massive amounts of knowledge. I recently bought three Light Sussex hens from Ham Street Hens - all very healthy and settling in nicely to their new home. The arrangements for picking them up from West Pennard were excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ham Street Hens to both beginners and experienced poultry keepers.
