Fish Sando 8/10 - mvp of the day with the right crunch and perfectly compatible combo of taste and ingredients. True to its name, this japanese style dish was minimalist to its core. Using the right ingredients and cooking time, the flavours had been perfect for me. Also it's big enough for 2.The Convict 7/10 - splash of flavours were a bit overwhelming the taste felt a bit of an overdose/all over the place for me. Taste wise it's something you can get anywhere. Bread tasted more like biscuit. I was expecting more of a toastie kind of texture. It's yummy still!Tahini Banana Bread 7.5/10 - tahini on top overpowered the banana bread so best to eat them separately if you want to have a better taste of the banana in the bread. Tahini is also a bit too sweet even for a sweet tooth like me. Nevertheless it's something I would want to indulge in every once in awhile.Weekend special pancakes 3.5/10 - Not a fan of pancakes made with buckwheat. The special this weekend had been a miss for me with the experimental choice of toppings. Enjoyed the blackcurrant cheesecake on top though. An interesting dish overall!Coffee: Latte was smooth and silky it's good coffee. Get an extra shot for a more bitter and stronger taste.Recommend the fish sando, it's perfect. We ordered a lot for 2 hence the £30-40pp price range. You could be spending £10-20pp with coffee.Do expect a long queue around brunch time where the wait could take up to 2 hours.

Attended on Remembrance Sunday, there was a good amount of people waiting to be seated, however the staff were attentive and ensured they let you know how long a wait might be depending if you wanted to sit indoors or outside. We had a short 15 min wait. Once inside the staff were superb in letting us know what the special dishes were available. We had a group of 4 and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and left clean plates to clear away.Great little venue, incredibly popular and I can see why.

Food was delicious. We got the fish sando, banana bread and hash browns. All 3 items were excellent, service was good.Ordered a flat white, which was nice but a bit weak considering it’s supposed to be 2 shots. It’s definitely loud in there and seating isn’t the most comfortable. We waited around 35-40 mins to get a table.

Had a lovely brunch here on a Friday morning at 10am, mention this as we had to wait about 5 minutes for a table, whereas when we left the wait seemed to be much longer. Food here was great! The coffee was super well roasted. Poached eggs were amazingly cooked and paired well with our dishes. Suggest the cornbread with honey which was rich and fresh. Paid £20 each for a dish each, a side and a coffee each.

The queue can be long but the food makes it worth it! Very original flavour combinations, so far from your box standard pancakes or poached eggs. So much flavour and well priced. Great service too. Will be coming back.

Came across this hidden gem while visiting the area. This is the only place in England that I have come across in 5 years that serves cornbread! Which as an American, is one of my favorites; and the bread was spot on! Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Easily the best brunch in London. Fish Sando has to be the best fish sandwich dish in the country. The weekend special pancakes put the poshest London cafes or dessert places to shame. Always great service and atmosphere.

Delicious food. Brilliant staff (just good people, helping other shop owners in the rain). Very busy at the weekend but perfect Monday mornings.

Milk Cafe is a trendy cafe in London that serves up delicious food and drinks. The cafe has a wide selection of coffees, teas, and smoothies. The cafe is located in a popular area of London, so it can get quite busy, especially on weekends. If you want to avoid the queues, I recommend getting there early. However, even if you have to queue, it's worth it to try the food and drinks at Milk.

It’s worth the queue! The food is awesome, kinda like the normal London brunch classics but with a twist. Defo get some of their hash browns, they are awesome. Coffees are great, all the mains are awesome, we got some of the veggies too. Total came to about £50 for two people with a tip. Very relaxed service and didn’t feel rushed, even with a queue outside! Will be coming back for sure
