The Yorkshire Belle
Had a fabulous trip on the Yorkshire Belle organised by RSPB Bempton today. The guides on the boat made sure everyone saw the Birds they wanted . Terrific commentary abd the skipper got very close to the cliffs for everyone to look and people taking photo's. Very pleasantly suprised at the price at the bar. Very cheap to say you are a captive audience. Wonderful trip and wil highly recomend

Nothing beats a day on the water with the people you love." And today was our first day on it the boat is amazing and the 1.5hour trip today was lovely we even got to see some seals and the captain telling us about the cost line was brill the best part was elephant rock/Clif if you have seen it you will know. There is a lovely little bar down stairs and not over priced and the staff alway was on hand to help take your drinks back upstairs. It was amazing to hear from a lovely ladie who was telling me that she was taken on this boat when she was 3 months old and she is now 70 that for me us some history there and how many people were on the trip show how well run it is because generations after generations have travelled on this boatTo day I took my 3 boys with my wife and they are autistic and the fact they could walk about change seat was amazing they loved it.I will definitely be going on it again but I will be doing the longer trip as 1.5 hours was not long enough I want longerI have attached some photos of today's tripBut thank you for the trip today"

An amazing sea trip around Bridlington coast. One of the best sea trips I every had. Dog friendly.Yorkshire Belle weighs 70 tonnes (69 long tons; 77 short tons) gross and has a length of over 79 feet (24 m), a breadth of nearly 20 feet (6 m) and a depth of 5 feet 7 inches (1.7 m). With two eight-cylinder Gardner engines each giving 152 hp she can carry up to 198 passengers. The ship was fitted out with her diesel engines in 1951 and is the last of six pleasure boats from Bridlington that operated between the 1920s and the 1950s.She is fully licensed with a lounge bar and is equipped with a public commentary system for pleasure cruises and sightseeing tours along Flamborough Head and the Yorkshire coast. As well as cruises to Flamborough Head, there are also special extended cruises to the Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve offering close-up views of the cliffs, lighthouse and caves. She was bought in 1982 by her current owner Mr Peter Richardson, who complained in 2007 about the UK's implementation of EU law restricting the Yorkshire Belle from sailing to Scarborough from Bridlington. Under the EU ruling, trips for Class C vessels were not allowed to go more than 15 miles (24 km) from a point of refuge, but the UK implemented it as no more than that distance from their home port. Richardson stated that the ship had regularly sailed between the two Yorkshire ports for the a period of 15 years up until the ruling.

Best trip ever, worth every penny. Very knowledgeable captain will keep you entertained and the added bonus of seeing the dolphins. Magical. If you've the time and money, go for the longest trip your pocket permits.

Sailed out yesterday to see thebird colony at Bempton cliffs. A two and a half hour sail round Flamborough Head to the highest cliffs in the country. 450 feet of screaming birds nesting on the rocky shelves in the chalk cliffs is a great sight. There were also seals basking on the beach by the lighthouse and quite a few bobbing up in the surf as we passed . It really is a great trip, and you can have a beer or soft drink on your trip.

The Yorkshire Belle
The Yorkshire Belle, a wonderful boat trip out to sea, nearing Flamborough head. Staff were friendly, and the boat had a bar and toilets. Great if you want to take in the sea breeze and beautiful scenery. The cost was reasonable. All round a wonderful experience.

Family arranged a Father’s Day out Bird Cruise around the beautiful coastal town or Bridlington and Flamborough. One the best UK cruises I been one. Weather was absolutely perfect and we got to see thousands of birds close up on the cliffs and on the sea. Will come back again. The captain also gives live commentary along the route of the history along the route. Superb. Great for all ages!
