Clive removed a load bearing wall between our kitchen and dining room and installed a steel beam. He did a fantastic job, he always turned up when he said he would, was extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. He dealt with building control, worked quickly with minimal fuss and left the place tidy every evening when he was finished, sweeping up every day.Would 100% recommend Clive and would absolutely use him again for any building jobs in future.

The work undertaken included installing a doorway in a load bearing wall, installing concrete and steel lintels and large steel girders, removing load bearing walls, fireplaces and chimneys, building new walls to form new rooms and hallways, installing new drains and all associated making good.Clive was great at communicating with us and nothing was too much trouble.We are already planning our next project and we would love to work with Clive again.

Bricks of the Trade (Clive Walton) has just completed a second major project for us and we couldn’t be more pleased. The latest project involved Clive replacing all the drains surrounding our property, building a very large retaining wall and installing porcelain paving slabs onto a large patio area and new paths that he had created.Clive is clearly very knowledgeable, experienced and his work is of the highest quality. He planned all the works carefully and kept us fully informed as the work progressed. We recently needed some work done to our home and Clive did a fantastic job for us. I Rang him on the Friday to enquire about his availability and he was there the next morning to give us a quote. It was very clear to see Clive is very experienced, Knowledgeable and professional in his work. Clive did a great job installing some lintels on my house. I am very pleased with how the work went and would not hesitate to use him again.Clive is a conscientious and hard worker. Clive was very quick to come round and quote once I had contacted him. He started work on my property very soon after a price was agreed and the workmanship was top notch. I left Clive to work whilst I was out at work all week and everyday when I came home the house was left as clean as could be. Any other building work we require I will not hesitate getting back in touch with Clive as he handled everything from materials to organising skip delivery prior to work beginning and I had nothing to worry about.Punctuality was great from the start compared to other tradesmen I’ve had to deal with, he came when he said he would, work started at a reasonable time every morning and Clive was trusted with a house key whilst we was at work all week.
