I was dealing with Mr Mathew Barks, who was helpful and reassuring, however; alarmed bells started when I had to appear in court. Everything went from defending me to how much money have I got, correspondence had been slow and then became terrible. However; Julia Morgen partner was very nice and professional, but passed my case to Beverley Mace Senior Legal Clerk who ignored all my questions and concerns. It took over a week to get the Police discloser and again the ethos was on money. Furthermore Beverly disgracefully gaslighted me with “we have other clients” it appeared she had no consideration for my stress and suffering. I felt this firmed, purely saw me as a file number and bank account only, I immediately withdraw them from my case and found an amazing barrister and KC.

Im not happy so far, I wasn’t contacted for over a year about my trial so i phoned to raise a few concerns and spoke to Keith Astbury to make an appointment to see them but they put that off and phoned me the next day telling me there is a pre trial hearing the next week where the solicitor didn’t turn up and was represented by an Australian lady barrister.
