People may put this place down, I am not here to do that. I went in for a meal and the food came out within 30 mins. It was cooked extremely well, the gammon and halloumi fries were delicious! Under new management, Georgia the new manager was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Will definitely come here again. Great value for money!

I wouldn't even give this place one star, should of known by the state of.the smoking area for a start. The fact we first walked in ordered our drinks where told where out table was, wasn't even shown, sat down looked over the menu all seemed like a good couple of choices, I ordered a mini mixed grill, the chicken tastes like it chucked in the microwave for one, my mum had been lasagna, which can I mention toke longer then mine and my dad's, after her eating a couple of mouthfuls, she couldn't even taste the beef, when we checked there wasn't even any beef in there, just to top it all off half her lasagne wasn't even ediable, it was so burn and crunchy, my mum struggled so avoided that! Then the worst disappointment of all, my dad over a 12oz rump steak, quater of the steak was grisserly not even editable, and my dad ordered his steak well done, instead it out medium rare for god sake! So my dad had a few onion rings, chips and peas for his dinner! I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

So a review of 2 halves really the new decor amazing looks fantastic, staff really nice& service was good food was hot but prices gone up menu much smaller and portion sizes tiny felt like using serving dishes on plates 2 fill them up only bout 10 chips on each plate ordered on app asked 4 no peas but came with peas and no onion rings so had 2 ask 4 those! Bit disappointing and both left still feeling hungry!

First time we have been here. Came for my anniversary. Eleanor was so polite and helpful. Offered free drink for our anniversary. Unexpected and really appreciated it. Felt welcome. Matthew was really good with the service. Service was really good but fudge cake wasn't warm and fish was okay not wow.

Prices have gone up, not a fan of the atmosphere. I feel like the renovation is a disservice to the regulars. i’d only come for food now as i couldn’t see myself coming for a few drinks (not pub like). It was nice when the ‘restaurant’ and the ‘drinking’ area was separate. Pool table is gone also. The menu is more refined and with many new additions i am yet to try. The food i did have was nice, only downside being the salad. What’s with the gigantic slabs of tomato? dice them up and mix them with the rest of the salad.I received our drinks after we finished our food also.

Couldn't be happier. Really friendly staff who were so lovely and helpful. Food came super fast we were so surprised. I enjoyed my pint and my nan got the £5 bottle of wine as it was Wednesday which is a bargain! Everywhere was clean and cosy and nice atmosphere. I will definitely go again for my sizzling halloumi!

Stunning new refurbishment done recently and this has made it such a clean fresh and trendy place to be.. Amazing and friendly staff with good knowledge of their menu and not too shabby at their cocktails skills too lol. Not your old school pub I. E no pool table etc so don't go there if u want a nostalgic feel in a pub

Fantastic location, they have decorated the new pub really well and has a much more cosy and homely feel now. The food was delicious and the service was really quick. I had katsu curry that comes with chips and rice, would have preferred the option to have either chips or rice and a salad instead. But what we had was amazing

Fantastic venue with ample parking and amazing new decor. Very well situated for all sizes of gatherings, get togethers and birthdays. Just had my wife’s birthday there and Shaun & the Cranleigh team were outstanding in their hospitality. Food and drinks all very reasonably priced and atmosphere is great. Can’t wait to go back! 5 stars :)

It was very busy. They didn't have the bottle of wine we wanted and they got two of the food orders wrong. They brought the wrong burger and instead of cheesy chips we were brought plain chips. I had a voucher for 2 free puddings for my birthday but they couldn't get the till to accept the voucher. But we did get the free puddings. The food was nice but not amazing. I had lasagne and it was pretty flavourless..one of our party had the steak and ale pie and said it was really tasty.
