We used Fermanagh Extreme Outdoor Adventures to set up a wet caving experience during our holiday to Northern Ireland. While there we had constant rain causing the cave to possibly become flooded. Due to the safety factor our guide asked if we were ok with switching which cave we would go in. This was a relief the guide was so safety conscious. We arrived and practiced some skills to descend into the caves and even during the practice he hammered the importance of using the safety cow tails properly. The first cave we went into was challenging but extremely fun. We had the option to go into another challenging cave during our adventure, but due to our exhaustion opted not to. Instead, our guide brought us to some smaller easier caves and gave us background the area and on how the caves have been found. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on not only the area, but caving, and cave rescue. It was a great experience and would recommend anyone wanting some adventure near Enniskillen to book a tour.
