Comfort's Hair Salon

Very poor service and no customer care. My appointment was re arranged due to her not being able to fit me in. I was understanding and was happy to re book only for the very same thing to happen again, After I had confirmed appointment over the phone day before my hair appointment. I was then told 1 hour before my appointment was due she was not available to do my hair once again because she was busy? Thats not good enough I had a time slot booked for me after you had already messed me around before hand. I will find a different salon that values their customers. Avoid this place!!! Terrible service.

I needed cornrows done last minute before a boxing fight. And I was very impressed with every part of the service. The booking was arranged for the next day, even though I phoned up quite late in the evening. Everyone in the salon was very helpful. The staff have a very good understanding of different designs. And despite being busy, they manage to pay a lot of attention to each customer's request. The atmosphere is friendly but professional at the same time. My hair was done exactly how I wanted. I felt very comfortable in the ring. And it still looked just as tidy after the fight as it was immediately after I got it done. Many thanks to all the staff. I will definitely be back next time I'm fighting. And I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to have their hair braided be that for combat sports, or any other purpose.

For a first time customer, I had an amazing time doing my hair. Aunty Comfort even offered my hot chocolate. Her team was awesome, friendly and professionals. Her team even helped me unblock my piercing which I had struggled to do. I love them too bits. I will definitely will be back!

I have been coming to this company for 20 years, I travel from Weymouth to come to this specific salon and for the entirety of the time I have been coming here I have received amazing service without fail, comfort is a lovely and incredible woman who is brilliant at what she does! Would 100% recommend her to everyone and having her do my hair is worth the travel. I visited this Saturday to have my braids put back in and got nothing less then perfection :) working by herself in the shop and still smashes it, credits to this woman! See you again soon - Sara

I have been coming to this salon for over 20 years to have my hair braided. I have always had such a good, friendly and professional service, so much so that my daughter (20) also comes to have her hair braided here. She is out of Bristol studying and like me will only come here to Comforts to have her hair braided. My hair always looks amazing when I leave the salon, if I could leave more than 5 starts I would!

Comfort is the loveliest woman. She knows her stuff and makes you feel so comfortable in her salon. I have had so many compliments about my hair and so happy I managed to find her. Highly recommend.

Big/medium, 48 cm long, box braids cost £120. I did ask the price before and never got a clear answer (my fault, I should have kept asking but I didn’t want to be rude and cancel on them when I called to find out but was told to come in to find out; again my fault ). I had a good chat with one of the girls and my hair was pain free despite my sensitive scalp. I regret not getting some fun colours and a longer length or a style so it matched value for money. I liked the experience but the price is a bit much. No disrespect meant. Yeah I like it despite the price.

Comforts is amazing, my daughter had box braids and they look superb. Friendly and efficient staff, really good value for money. We travelled from Cornwall and it is worth the trip! We will be back. Thanks Comfort and your team.
